Oh I’m so glad you liked my video and that it helped you. I don’t have a specific method or routine for water changes. I would think you would want to do a partial water at least a couple times a week. By now your fry must have hatched out. Good luck and have fun with them!!😃👍🎏

Hi Alisha, yes I have done it both ways. In my case though I have spent my life breeding registered animals. So everything is very specific in your choices. I just wanted to have fun with this! 😃 So I’m more concerned with color, fins and body conformation. I keep and breed the fish that I like!!That’s really all I’m doing. Live in Sydney Australia and have warmblood dressage horses, a Hanoverian designer foal I created and paid to use the mother who is now a 3.5 year old stallion and an Australian Warmblood mare who is 12. I am 24 and had goldfish, a few types as a kid and teenager but want to actually "get into them" now and learn a lot. Plan on getting some Shubunkins (American/Japanese type) and maybe breed :)

Hi Ken, in this tank I do one water change a week about 30%. I have a small sponge filter and a small hang on the back filter. Overall not much filtration. Hope this helps and good luck with your fish!!😃👍🎏

@@colourcrayon Absolutely. I figured that was what you were going to do. I seem to recall you saying you had quite a few tanks up and running. For the first time since putting it in, I had goldfish survive the winter (Chicago area) and I was just curious if the non-show stock might go into a pond on your end as well. I can't wait to see what those fish turn into for you.
