I remember watching Joe Bob in the mid 90s . This is the first film critic that I have ever listened to. He does not really candy coat stuff and genuinely seems to love the Art of Horror Movies. Keep on rockin Joe Bob!

He needs to live to 100 and just keep doing what he does. I have enjoyed several television horror hosts in my lifetime (I'm in my late fifties now) but no one has this dude's charm and smarts and charisma. "Joe Bob" is the party guest you'd find in the kitchen where you'd spend the entire evening letting him regale you with anecdotes and laughs. God bless this man. He's brought much happiness to others. Also--- the occasional faux VHS image distortions are super in this. The icing on the cake.

Something my kids wont get to experience is the excitement you got when you opened the VHS tape and slipped it into the tape player and heard it load up all while the tracking light flashed. Arrrgghhh the good old days

My kids will never know the joy and excitement of going to the video store and looking around. The box art was better than the movie sometimes. Then making your selection and taking it to the counter. It was a serious decision on a saturday night for me.

I mean, you can always buy a VCR and tapes go for as low as 5$ on most second hand websites. There's even ways to make your own tapes. Not as accessible as before but not impossible in any way

I wish I could have watched this whole 24 hour marathon, but when I finally got a chance to watch them all, they took many of the movies off of Shudder. I am however happy to see Joe Bob back on Shudder regularly.

Glad to see Joe Bob Briggs back look at his lecture on the iridium phones and the cell towers needed for the phone in our hands right now check it out and I am thankful for getting to see him on shudder with Darcy great show I'm a long time fan and I never knew about the iridium cell phone and how amazing they are and the spectacular story how the iridium cell phone can work from anywhere on the earth he said you can call from the deep jungle of south America to the middle of the Indian ocean wow and he mentioned how the cell phone towers are going to fail unless you have a tower every mile to five miles anyway thanks Mr Joe Bob Briggs.

Darn it, this WOULD only be on a streaming service instead of, say, COMET where it would be absolutely PERFECT!! I LOVE that phrase. paywall. wow. I mean, it's like glass ceiling but even more .. solid. I guess it's a combination of like, firewall and payment? Doesn't really matter. I love the style of it tho. I mean, I can't wait for "lifewall" for when you die, and "sleepwall" for when you wake up, and .. all those other societal "walls" we build around ourselves and each other, man. An entire category of timeless and prehistoric ideas like "value" and "exchange" have slowly passed by me and to think this whole time I could have been saying something cool like "paywall" to describe it.
