(2005-2009) • All of Naka's 34 competitive goals from his 166 Glasgow Celtic games, plus a friendly strike. The music from 06:34 is a cover of "Miserlou" by Dughoose Ska Band - a fantastic Scottish group.
The Japanese magician won 3 SPL titles, 2 League Cups and 1 Scottish Cup during his 4 seasons with Gordon Strachan's side. Nakamura's sensational goals - including wonder-strikes against Manchester United, Kilmarnock, Dundee United & Rangers - will live forever in the memory.

Still say his free kick against Man Utd at Celtic park is one of the all time best, totally underrated outside paradise. Not many midfielders score not 1 but even two hatricks too. Love the man from Japan. HH Naka

No doubt, Shunsuke Nakamura , is a remarkable soccer player that Japan ever had. But he faded very quickly. To me, he was the greatest at his peak.

全盛期の中村の活躍だね。曲線を描いてくるシュートを取れと云っても是は難しい。どんなに高速でも直線の弾道ならば優秀なGKなら弾くだろうし取れる。だが変化してくる高速のシュートは、誰にも取れない。中村選手のシュートはいわゆる癖玉で、足のインサイド、又はアウトサイドでボールを回転させる変化球ですから、然もコーナーのギリギリのところに決まるので、これは絶対に取れない。オランダの優秀なキーパーが動けないほどきわどい球だ。将に伝説の男だ。

Yeah, it's chronological order. Your other comment is right too - that free kick won Celtic the game 1-0 in the final 5 minutes. It was a crucial league match at St Mirren. We ended up winning our 3rd title in a row on the final day of the season.

Hey! Sadly, someone working for Celtic decided to remove some of my videos (including that one) and they gave me 2 "copyright strikes", meaning if I get another before the expiry in November then the whole channel will be removed permanently. I will eventually do more Nakamura videos, but probably not until after the strikes expire

@@Henrik7Larsson Thanks for the update! Naka's Celtic contribution should be regarded as a such; his vision, passing range, free kicks, I cannot see nowadays players that have Shunsuke's traits. Keep up the hard work!
