I think we tend to forget how young Jess is. A lot of things and happenings in the culture that seem like common knowledge to most of us in our 40s and up were missed by her generation. This happened 25 years ago. 25 years ago Jess was 7. So I'm not surprised she doesn't know much about Shyne or the incident being discussed. Gotta give her some grace, at least with this one.

Sounds like an excuse to me. I'm in my 40's but I know a lot of things that went on before my time. It's called research. Jess does not seem to take the job serious. Wake up early and research what you want to talk about, so you are better prepared to talk about it while you are on the air. If she prepares more, she will not sound so incoherent. I followed Jess for a long time, and I think she has talent, but she has been struggling and that is just some constructive criticism. However, I think she can get better and only time can tell but I think she can do better researching so she can sound more knowledgeable on the subject she is speaking on.

These guys just show their overall ignorance at every opportunity = Shyne literally said this back in 1999, when he did an interview for "XXL" magazine from prison, where he said Diddy shot into the crowd, while he shot into the ceiling + the court/police didn't bother to do any "ballistics" on the weapons fired because Shyne said he had a ".40 cal", while Diddy fired a "9mm" = to prove Shyne was "innocent", all the DA had to do was remove the bullet fragments from the victims & from the ceiling to compare them = EVERYONE from back then (especially NYC/entertainment industry) knew that Diddy PAID OFF WITNESSES TO SAY HE DIDN'T HAVE A GUN IN THE CLUB = that's the ONLY reason why Shyne went to prison + why J-LO left him & ALL of these idiots have known that for decades

Who dosent know about Shyne and this story?? They need a older co-host around the same age as Envy and Charlamage who can relate to the old school culture as well. Didn't even realize Jess was born in 92. Could've sworn she was a 80s baby, at least in her mid or late 30s. These folks done blew up from social media appearing older than what they are.
