My best friend for almost 20 years used to send songs to each other to express our emotions. Once she sent me this song after her boyfriend died from overdose. About a year later she died. They never found out how she died, but i am sure she finally gave up her fight for life. I miss her so much. True friendship only comes a few times in your life.

It's clear that she is not comfortable with showing herself off on stage and in cameras. But what surprises me with joy is the fact that her talent is so pure that it cuts through her anxiety dissorder and goes directly to people's hearts, who, even when they tend to be rather esceptical and critizicing, they accept her as she is. I love the fact that people let that pass and don't get excessively obsessed with the fact that she ain't the typical pop singer, and we won't be seeing her face zoomed, and accept her truth: if we want to see her perfoming live and not just writinf lyrics for other performers, it won't ever be like beyonce or other "hot" chicks who are so comfortable showing off their images. I also love that she uses this in favor of art and showcases the talent of many other artists in her live shows and videos. She values art in all forms and have changed the way we appreciate a concert. For me she is a legend of the 21 th century pop music
@itsthetits55349 жыл бұрын
Wtf She doesn't show her face because she's not comfortable with doing so She used to show it when she wasn't all too popular but now that the media has seen her she decides to hide it because she wants to send the message that music is for the ears not the eyes She wants people focusing on her talent not her face And I'm not even sure she got anxiety I'm pretty sure that's just a rumor
@andreahoyosl9 жыл бұрын
She has talked about her depression and anxiety before. But she is recovered now. And also what you said is true

Oh Thanks for sharing (^◡^)づ
@robbie94598 жыл бұрын
+Andrea Hoyos sorry, but you don't ever "get over" or "recover" from anxiety. It's a part of you. Everything you do to combat it is just coping with it, which could be why Sia hides her face now. It's a coping mechanism. And really, she doesn't care to be anymore famous than she already is. She wants her music to be heard without becoming a well-known face or celebrity who can't go anywhere without being mobbed by fans and paparazzi.

I first was made aware of Sia when I watched the Voice UK 2015, her performance was mesmerizing and made me say 'WoW' out loud. I've since listened to '1000 Forms of Fear' and 'Some People have Real Problems', and these 2 albums prove this Girl oozes talent. She has a vocal range that few could match along with the ability to deliver a wide range of singing styles. I've not been interested in any singers or albums for over 10 years, this lady has changed that for me.
