I listened to a lot of her music when I ran away from a very toxic environment. I literally packed up all my stuff and sold as much as I could and scraped together what I could and still only had $200 by the time I got from Seattle to Dallas. I remember passing through mountains and coming into a valley while this song was on and I literally felt like I was flying. I was so free in that moment, and she was definitely a big part of that journey. That was now more than three years ago and it was still the best thing I’ve ever done in my life.
