I dont care how busy the day is. After coming back from hectic job, I would still spend time talking to my mom because she deserves to be loved instead of being taken for granted. ❤. I dont care how busy the day is, I would never go to sleep without talking to her. You will get replaced how busy the life is(job and relationship) but the love from parents is unconditional. If you lose everything in the world ,they are the only ones who is gonna hug you tight. Thank you Dhar man for this beautiful video

Same here. Even whenever I come home from a very busy day at work, I love to bond with my mom, we get to talk, watch tv together, and even help other to cook a nice dinner. I don’t care if I’m now in my 30’s, I will always let my mother be part of my life 😊

I’m watching this while I’m sitting in my college dorm and this makes me realize how much I miss my mom when I’m at school, even though I can still see her when I come back. Going to the gym at my school makes me realize how much better I liked going with my dad. Cause he helps me understand the exercises and even though it’s early, it helped me start my day. But I’m glad to see them when I come home. As a teenager I got annoyed with them. As an adult I understand my parents more. I’ve even told my mom I’m sorry for how I acted as a teenager but she understood and said it was ok.

“If you have a loved one that is with you today, be sure to not only spend good quality time with that person and remember to let that person know how much you love and appreciate them. And that is why when that casket opens and I see my mother for the final time, I may shed some tears, but I will also carry a good conscience in my heart and soul because it is better to carry that than to carry loads of guilt and regret that will haunt someone for the rest of their life.” That was the eulogy I gave at my mother’s funeral 5 years ago. ❤️

This story is so true! You only have your parents for a short time & if you stay so busy that it’s too inconvenient to go see them while they’re living; you will at their funeral! Choices have consequences & when you make the wrong one; you will regret it for the rest of your life. Love, cherish & make time for them; they sure made time for you. This isn’t just another story, it’s a reminder to always remember that you shouldn’t put off until tomorrow what you should do today, because tomorrow may never come!! 💔😭

I learned this lesson back in 2015. We lost my 17 year old niece suddenly to an undiagnosed genetic heart condition. Don’t get me wrong, she was my princess and I appreciated her, but there were a few things I missed like seeing her off to her junior prom cause I could see her off to her senior prom and she didn’t make to her senior year! Don’t take life for granted. Anything can happen in the blink of an eye. Don’t miss those little special moments cause it could be the last special moment.

This one hit me hard. I still have my parents, they are 79 and 80. I talk to them every day and see at least 2 or 3 times a week. I have 3 adult children whom I rarely see, even though one is my neighbor. They are so busy with jobs and navigating their ways to being very successful. I miss them so much. Thank you for opening the flood gate for my tears. They really needed cleaned out.

I should have called her more often and visited her more often. I know deep down that she is in heaven and not suffering anymore. She is healed of all her earthly burdens and is now free and pain free. RIP Mommy. I love u and miss u so much. Someday I'll see u and grandma in heaven.

While the ending of this story was positive, I'm not sure so many other families end up learning a lesson before their parent(s) depart this world. This really resonated with me as I struggle so much trying to understand why I have siblings who never make time to call their mom or visit her. She has lived in another country for 16 years and they have never made an effort to see her. It pains me every time I call my mom and she asks me about my siblings and she asks me to tell them to call her. The times I have visited my mom or even lived with her they rarely or never call me to video chat, as my 75 year old mother doesn't know how to use these types of features. I do hope other families gain some value from this video. I have sent videos similar to this message siblings in the past, but unfortunately they have not been able to resonate with them. In our busy lives, we should always make time for our parents and spend moments-normal and milestones with them. I can't imagine how it would feel to live with so much regret and guilt.

Finally someone gets it. It is incredibly unrealistic how nice they were after finding out their mother tricked them. I get that You should spend as much time with your family as possible. But this was not the best way to get that message across. What the mother did was cruel even if those kids needed a wake up call. Wake up call in the form of the Dad scolding them for not keeping their promises to attend these events for their mom would’ve been enough. They did not need to go to the extreme of faking the mothers death.

Plus parents need to be understanding that their kids are grown up and now they have their own lives. Plus someone pointed out that maybe something happened between the mom and the kids that made them not want to visit. I find my grandmother too controlling and hard to like, that’s why I don’t visit or call her very often.

I couldn't fathom not seeing my Papa when he was healthy and when he was in the hospice. He was a beautiful, kind, loving man. I miss and love him. When it comes to my mother, it is completely the opposite...she is a cruel, abusive, manipulative, controlling person. both my siblings have cut her off for their emotional well being. I am however with her, taking care of her. She is terrifying when she gets into a demonic rage. I am seeing a doctor and therapist to help cope. I guess, until she dies or i die first, I will be looking after her. My poor father and step father endured 2 decades each married to this abusive woman. I cry at what they went through...both father and step father passed away, I believe from a broken heart, a life filled with abuse from her. They are now in peace and with God...I think I will die before her, because of her cruelty...I pray to help me cope....she enjoys abusing others...especially her children...

"We need to cherish every moment with our loved ones because tomorrow might never come." "You never truly appreciate something until it's gone." Very inspiring messages/lessons! These can taught us that we need to spend as much time with your family as possible because one day, they'll never be around anymore; while we're growing up, we also need to realize that our parents are getting old. So we can't take our time we have with them for granted!

I have mixed feelings. I literally have social anxiety disorder, so I feel so much more relief being alone. I act this way to most people outside of doing what’s required. A part of me wonders if one day I’ll snap out of it and regret it. But as of right now, I don’t.

Damn another video and I’m crying! 😭 Currently going through the phase of my kids being adults and wanting to do their own thing. And I’m in the transition phase of excepting but but oh man! This hit the nail on the spot. We know we all have our own lives but please make time for your parents. They spend 18 years raising you until you became an adult. All we want is some time with our kids every once in awhile. Tomorrow is not given and we need to live in the moment. Beautiful video! 🙏

This video pretty much left me quite sad because at the beginning of last year going to my uncle's funeral left me heartbroken and devastated and even to this day i still miss him a lot because we were super close so this video reminded me of that a bit 😭💔

The mother's daughter spoke the truth. We should always find time to be with our loved ones. We never know when our luck may run out. My icon may be of an old rusted out streetcar, but that streetcar was a testament to how some of our grandparents went to work or school. Our grandparents are very rich in history and we should show love for our family members.

This one is so relatable, my older sister refused to come and see my mum when she got sick with cancer twice, and if we asked could we go and see them she was always ready with an excuse, I understand that it was a long way to come and she had 4 kids but other people manage it, she only showed up to my mums funeral, and promised to stay in touch but that was 18 years ago and I've only heard from her once

This reminds me of when my grandma died, the day before she died my family was ment to go see her, but i didn't want to go, and i regret that so much. The only chance i had to see her or even say goodbye was when we were ment to visit her, and i didn't go... My grandma died without seeing me and i feel so guilty, i regret not seeing her for that last time and i wish i could go back in time to change my decision.
