I’m learning from Taylor Sheridan, the writer of Yellowstone and Sicario, to improve my own writing style, following a technique used by Stephen King, Hunter S. Thompson, and Shakespeare.
I’m copying the screenplay of SICARIO, word-for-word. And you can follow here as I learn.

Great video! Maybe it’d be cool to see a dedicated video talking about the technique of forgery, explaining how we can use to improve our screenwriting - like a more in depth companion to these videos, that is all about explaining the benefits of the technique

Great comment, Griffyn! I'm going to look into that. Specifically the unconscious workings of the mind as we do the exercises would interest me. Is that what you had in mind?

I learned a lot here... Thank you so much. Can you please give a quick clarification on the 'Walter Hill / Alien structure' you refer to at the 6min mark? Are you referring to the shift in POV?
