Abi sings the National Anthem, Hannah peels some eggs, and polishes off a whole box of Green Tea-flavored Pocky snacks sent in by a subscriber, and Jesse enjoys a pillow toss contest while "watching" cartoons on TV.

Abi is one of my favorites too. Her eyes are gorgeous. It's rare to see the full white eyes. I think it's so cool looking. Plus she's so sweet. I like the way she says Yes when you ask her a question lol.

It took us years to get the eggs right! I swear the secret is to put the pot of eggs in water at medium heat uncovered until they boil. Not high heat....once they rapid boil, cover and turn the heat off. 17 minutes later, cold bath. Perfect! 😉😄❤

Hi everyone! We have been surprised by how many of you are asking how we cook the eggs, so here is how we do it! The secret is to cover your week old eggs in cold water and start them on medium heat with no cover. Once they come to a rapid boil, cover the pan and turn off the heat. Set the timer for 17 minites, then rinse them in very cold water. Tap lightly to crack then roll them in your hands and peel. So..not your fresh eggs cooked low and slow should come out perfect every time! ❤

If I was God, I would make these kids see. That way theyd see how beautiful their parents are in person. I’m happy they were adopted by these two loving parents. May God continue to bless their parents. 😘 Such an amazing family I swear.

As a nurse, I COMPLETELY agree, stay home from school/work if ur sick!! Don’t contribute to that cycle of illness!!

Thank you for keeping them at home when they are sick! I am an education Assistant and many of the students we work with are sent to school when they are so ill! I understand parents need a break, but the poor students need a break too if theyre sick! Watch all your videos. Love watching your family!

Yes Hannah! Pocky sticks are delicious 😋. This morning I tried to walk from my bed to my kitchen, then to my bathroom with my eyes closed to see what it is like for the kids on a daily basis! I didn’t do to well! 😬 They are amazing

Even with your eyes closed, you see more than the kids do as light comes through. They have zero light perception. If you try this again, use your bumpers. That means to put your arms up to protect your face from bumps. That is the term used when someone first learns mobility. Use your bumpers! It is for little kids, mostly. We don't want you to get hurt! 😉😊❤

Thanks Holly...people just don't want to offend others. They need permission and instruction to know what is acceptable. I threw it in here as I have seen many comments about them watching TV lately. They LOVE to hang out and watch TV!! 😉😄❤

SixBlindKids I noticed this in some countries more than others. In France, it happens all the time, and even when you correct somebody and tell them that you watch TV just like they do, they keep saying listen to the TV… I also noticed that when you go to a hotel in France, the staff will always tell you they can’t be there to help you all the time. I don’t know, there are some things that are very country specific that you never find anywhere else. Like in Vietnam, everybody asks me if my cane has electricity inside… I really don’t know why, but I get asked this several times a day. I was asked to make a blog for one of the hotels, and I started the blog by saying does your cane have electricity inside? I really hope not, since the place floods all the time, Vietnam I mean not the hotel.

Oh my goodness, thank you thank you thank you for what you said about "seeing" language!!!! My husband and I get that so much even as adults... and I gotta admit, it gets old. We don't let on, and we explain that it's okay and that no one has to change the way they talk, and that "Did you listen to that movie?" sounds every bit as weird to us as it does to anyone else. But thank you so much for putting that out there. Thanks to Hannah, I'm now boiling eggs for breakfast. I hope I peel them as eggcellently as she did. LOL and also, I'm in complete agreement about pocky! Yum! :)

I use a wheelchair, and it’s always weird when people try to skirt around the word “walk” around me. I understand what’s being said and say the word myself when referencing my own movement, so I can imagine blind people feel the same with people avoiding words like “see” and “look”.

Emily Harrison Such a good point. Sometimes when people stop and look embarrassed after saying things it’s just more awkward! My daughter uses a wheelchair and today I said “ you want to go for a walk?” So - because she thinks she is hilarious- loudly said “ Go for a walk?! I can’t walk mom- thanks a LOT” so people would look at me 😮She was totally joking- but people listening didn’t know that! I’m glad she has an awesome sense of humor though!
