If you're looking for another Scandinavian novel-in-verse, there's one coming out in January called Ædnan by the Sámi-Sweish author Linnea Axelsson. It's excellent, and your thoughts on Sickle resonate closely with it thematically, linguistically, and stylistically, I think.
