In his first ever interview post the release of Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor led Fighter, Siddharth Anand opens up about his most loved film to date, dissects the introductory sequences of Hrithik Roshan in all their three collaborations, and discusses how the aerial action thriller is a ‘100% made in India’ film. Sid shares the possibilities of spinning Fighter into a franchise and also opens up about the chances of directing Hrithik in a romantic comedy or a pure love story. The director opens up about the ‘Lord Sid’ tag that he has been bestowed with on social media and also reveals how he hopes to push the boundaries in filmmaking rather than making the same kind of films. Goosebumps from lies? Pakistani pilot kaala with surma? In reality, Abhinandan represents 99.9% of Indian population. Stop using genes and looks from Pakistani regions and present them as a representation of India. For example, Hrthick, Kapoors, Khanna, Kumars, Khans, Dutt , Tandon, Anand, etc are genes from Northwest ( current Pakistan , Kashmir and Indian old punjab). 70 % of Northwest was part of British created India for less than 60 Years and Mughal created Hindusthan for less than 250 years. The boundaries of both kingdom didn't match. Northwest has history of over 5000 years and has always had trade and cultural ties with Central Asia ( AFgha, Iran, Uzbikistan, Turkey) and attacks towards Ganga Jamuna ( current India minus chinese Burmese Tibet Portuguese regions of Northeast "India" and beyond) There was no India before the British and no Hindusthan before Ghouri. Kingdoms from Northwest like Maurya, Kushan, Dahir, Pirthiviraj etc have always invaded, plundered ganga jamuna. Mauryans alone killed 5 million ganga jamnis. Maurya didn't know what India hindusthan or bharat was. Ask south Indians, they hated Indus valley and were refusing to call themselves Indooz aka Hindus (a term given by persians to people of indus sindh) until Indra gandhi bombed Tamil Tigers twice.

After watching Fighter, i can say this is the best Siddharth Anand film till date. Yes for me, its better than Pathaan and War. Bachna Ae Haseeno was my first bollywood film that i saw on a multiplex in Visakhapatnam. From Salaam Namaste to Fighter...What a journey as a director.

This film is meant to be blockbuster in Urban Audience but Mass audience didn't know about it that much and they didn't do single promotion event in B & C cities and in south India. Oh yeah that'll be great! After so many action flicks, I think Sid should occasionally return to making rom coms as well, since he used to do that so well! Moreover, the deshbhakti action genre is slowly getting very exhausting and repetitive to watch. We've not had good rom coms for a long time.
