Fallout: New Vegas is a action role-playing game set in the Mojave Desert, years after a nuclear war left much of the United States decimated. The player controls a courier who survived an assassination attempt from an unknown assailant. The goal of the game is to complete a series of quests to find the assailant, which eventually culminates in a war between different governing factions vying for control of the Mojave Desert.

My party members are freakin broken LOL another commenter said that a High charisma stat buffs companions so it may be related to that too. Alongside the doubt critical chance on That Gun

1:18:20 If I'm not mistaken, damaged garden gnome is one of the rarest items in FNV, probably even unique.

Ace your companions may be broken because high charisma protagonist buffs their companions.

not sure if you played the first two games, but if you do, your opinion about NCR may shift, considering where they came from. yeah you can get rex as a Companion from The King, but i think all you need to do is talk to him for the quest to start and from there you should be good to go. 48:25 boone is top pick for reason

By the way, this is the closest depiction you're gonna get of the Brotherhood of Steel as they were originally portrayed in Fallout 1 and 2. From Fallout 3 onwards, it's effectively a different faction. Take that into consideration with future games and the show.

and then there is Fallout 76 brotherhood which tells us that they where close to fallout 3's brotherhood

In F3 BOS is following local Elder who has a different vision of what they need to do. Outcasts are closer to initial vibe though. I'd say F4 changes BOS. But still, everything IRL changes depending on situation and who's in charge so I don't blame devs for this. I'd be disappointed if BOS did stay just the same with no development throughout all the series.

@@westa8427 Let me put it this way, you saw their development in Fallout 1, 2, and NV. But it should be clear that they're a dying faction. They shouldn't exist in any major capacity is we're following the path of these game. That's why I am mentioning this. If the Brotherhood followed the path after NV, we'd essentially just have a small group of horders in a corner of the wasteland if that.

@@65firered NV told a story of Mojave BOS chapter, which was dying. I can't remember dialogues about it being what's left of BOS in general. So in my opinion it actually makes sense. Enclave return doesn't really though.

@@westa8427 They aren't fairing much better. It's important to acknowledge this though. If you go into Fallout 3 expecting anything like NV or before, you won't get that and you won't at any point past this game.

TIP: The Khans have an amazing shop that sells a lot of gear and i think they buy stuff from you for a lot more. There is a semi destroyed house on the entrance to the khans valley and some doors to a cellar.

@1:56:30 Took me a rewind to figure out what made you think Boone can't move with the T-45 on. He can move with it; I think you misinterpreted a pop-up message. The message that appeared saying "Boone can't carry any more" after you gave it to him was triggered by your attempt to put more in his inventory while he was still carrying too much, but you'd already fixed that by the time he was wearing the PA. I think the game can't flash that message while in the barter menu so it flashes it after you unpause. It's not faction armor which is why he can carry it and will put it on, and I think all the human companions can wear PA without training like the player needs, for some reason. lol
