Watch Part 2 of the inspiring story of how two friends named Elie are both overcoming horrible side effects from Fluoroquinolone antibiotics. They want to spread the word so others don't take these medications unnecessarily and also show people who are in the midst of experiencing these side effects that there is huge hope for recovery. They are recovering and so will you!

This was a great interview. I was also floxed by Cipro. It’s insane. The denial I am getting from the medical provider and complaint department is frustrating. I am 10 months out now.

I know it is so frustrating that the medical system doesnt take this seriously when there are so many black box warnings on it. 10 months is early but lots of people recover around the 12-18 month mark-so hopefully you will recover very soon!

I can't thank you enough for this channel and also all the participants in your interviews, i was floxxed by Oflaxin 10days ago , the dizzyness is the only thing bothering me and ofcourse the anxiety with the Achilles rupture possibility is scary. I just pray we all heal well and good.

Drug companies don't tell you the worst, they focus on how it can help. Consumer beware and ask what are the worst side effects and work from there. We need to start demand these drug companies be accountable.

Thank you so much!!! I am finally starting to feel like I am turning another corner from the Levaquin. (four years later) Most people get better much quicker, but since I have underlying autoimmune conditions, it is taking longer. I will never take good health for granted again..

I'm feeling much better/stronger. but I'm still not where I want to be. I think this is the year that both Chuck and I make a complete (or almost complete) recovery! I will talk to him about doing an update video. thanks for checking in.

How are you feeling? I have heard from people who have taken many pills and were fine and some who only took a few and had significant symptoms, but on average, the more you take the worse it can be.

@@klodi841 that's pretty typical and also a good sign. I didnt have ANY good days for the first year. So the fact that you are having some good days means that you will continue to have more and more of them.

That’s me everything hurt burning. It had been getting bad always blaming on neuropathy and diabetes. Was checked for MS and have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and through the years gotten worse days of no sleep. Fatigue nausea and a few years ago I went to a podiatrist and had to use an ankle support. Was also told due to other allergies In antibiotics that this is all I can take. I questioned taking again after going to ER for increased burning and spasms. They found a UTI and started the antibiotics and went from walking to a walker that I was looking at paralysis. Nothing more can be done. How can I bounce back will I cause I have no life anymore

Ugh-I'm so sorry to hear this! But there is hope, I know of people getting better after a decade. I think its about looking at each symptom one by one. although the Fluroquinolones are horrible, I personally don't believe all medications are bad. I would work with a neurologist on the burning-there are some medications that are worth trying. I found Gabapentin did help me with some of the burning and tingling. Elavil can help with sleep and nerve pian. Also check all vitamin and iron levels. Vitamin D and Magnesium are generally helpful overall. I assume you have already been to a rheumatologist, because the antibiotics can also unmask autoimmune disease. I also work with a trainer/physical therapist. I started with baby steps, but I'm finally getting stronger. Sending healing thoughts your way!

Yes, I think there should be a law that if there are black box warnings on a medication, that a doctor has to go through each and every one with you and then have you sign a waiver!

everyone's symptoms are different. So it's tough to know. I might start with having a doctor look at all of your vitamin levels (including B, D, magnesium) iron levels, anemia, and hormones. If all those are normal, I would try a few regular doctors in the area of the symptoms (e.g psychiatrist, neurologist) but if they can't help and it's early on, I would just rest and give it time. Almost everyone gets better in time.

No, I just had a bunch of life stuff happen including an unexpected job change. But I'm going to pick it up again soon. I have a new video that will be ready in a couple of weeks, of someone who has almost 100% recovered from floxing after several years.

I'm not sure about the group chat but if you look on facebook there are a few floxie groups. But some are really negative, so stick to the one's that seem more positive. I think there is floxie hope and one by Jason Sousa that is good. Might need to find by googling.
