Wow! That turned out really nice. I've seen others do similar barns, but yours actually looks like a finished barn rather than a couple conex boxes with a roof over it. Nice job. I came over from Adler Farms. Thanks for inspiring Chad to do something similar.

@@metaspencer LOL. It must not. I'm wiring, insulating, and hanging OSB in my garage so that I can use it more than two months out of the year, and I'm really enjoying it. So yeah, the year is banging so far.

@@metaspencer Me too. I was going to paint them white, but I don't have the energy right now. I don't have a Melissa to lend a hand...LOL. I just finished hanging the OSB on the south wall and hooked the wiring up, and nothing tripped, so that's a win!!

Oh really? Nice job! Yea I just had my cabin in north central Idaho collapse under snow 😭 so I am gonna rebuild and just checking to make sure those trusses can handle 5 ft of snow, thanks. 🍻

Oh that's a bummer man. Yeah these trusses were certified by an engineer for this area and our snow load, or at least that's what the paperwork said.

For 5' of snow you might want to go with a steeper pitch and 2x8s at 2' spans or something like that

As a long time DIY guy I can relate to the HOW I DID IT aspect of life. You are not a pro at this but knowledge and backyard engineering is the key to most DIY success.. Your experiences are teaching the next guy doing something like this project. These things may look straight forward to the inexperienced. You can almost guarantee there will back of the envelope engineering working out everyday, "Ok, now what do I do about this development" events. Keep on sending along your experiences and I for one will be watching!

Nice build. I was wondering if you've ran any numbers as to what you would have saved by using the the containers verses building it as a pole barn.

Containers don’t save money unless you get them for free. No way. And once installed they’re less flexible than post frame. What they have they pile barns lack is style

Hey..... can you provide the inside dimensions of your container barn. You probably did in the series, but I cant recall when and where you did... Thanks, maybe a wrap up video mentioning some options that you were considering and didn't go thru with... awesome series

Hey man, no problem. Inside (like, between the containers) is 40' x 27' and then the containers themselves are roughly 40'x8' inside. total square feet then comes to 2240sq' ... if you're wondering about ceiling height inside the main central space it's just under 14' off the slab

As for options I've considered -- oh man! so many options and ways to do things, ya know. I built to the size I did for a lot of reasons but part of it was the contour of the land
