Harfleur doesn't fit into the Shakespearean epos, a few French repelling a large Anglo-Welsh army with canons for a month while inflicting many casualties. Had the French Ost completely avoid the battle, this expedition would have been a complete failure.

Love the story of Henry V, can't wait to see Part 2. It's amazing he won those battles, despite his short reign he truly had great military success. You should incorporate some quotes and fun things from Henriad (the Shakespeare play on Henry V). Thanks again for all the hard work on these videos, you're better than 'on air' historical shows!

What I especially love with this channel is that you always put a battle in the historical context. I seen and read many sources about the battle of Agincourt. But none has explained WHAT happened prior to the battle. learning about the siege of Harfleur gives a deeper understanding of the events that would follow! Big thumbs up 👍

Definitely will at some point. It's often very hard to predict and plan projects, mainly because the creation of assets takes a while. This prevents me from releasing, say, once per week. But I will definitely get to the Cathar crusade
