Dos: Denial of service and threat level is low , no malware involved, Easier to operate and manage , system can easily protected and stopped, but Ddos distributed of denial service , defficult to Protect system with Ddos attack, threat level is medium and high, not easy to manage and operate, thanks for the video, great explanation 😊😊

very informative lesson. This ha cleared the confusion i always had between DOS - Denial Of Service attack and DDOS- Distributed Denial Of Service attack. I have learned that DOS only uses one machine to attack the target machine while DDOS uses multiple computers to attack the target. I have also learned that DOS and DDOS does not compromise data integrity but only deny the availability of resources / applications / data to the authorized users. As a cyber security graduate, i have learned that in order to prevent DOS and DDOS, implement security measures to protect unauthorized access and tools to monitor and scan traffic for suspicious / malicious activities.
