I saw Sierra & Band twice in 2022 when they played here in Melbourne Australia headlining at the Out On The Weekend festival, and a sideshow at the Brunswick Ballroom. Incredible talent as a singer, player, writer and performer. The sheer musicality, spirit & soul Sierra brings to every song are her gift to the universe. I'm so happy & grateful to have received this gift, and those from my other favourite artists during my lifetime.

The four recordings of Sierra Ferrell (and her band) by Audiotree from the March 5 2023 concert are the FINEST live recordings of Sierra anywhere on the internet. Please, please, please!!! - make a new LIVE album of Sierra Ferrell. I will make the purchase of a "live" recording of this quality in a heartbeat. I just can't settle for an inferior studio recording that fails to capture the incredible essence of her immense talent.

Live music is the moment of the craft. Studio recordings are a totally different art form for the collaborating humans! (Too many choices and clutter sometimes, and that damn Nashville sound sucks.)

This is soooo true. Her studio recordings really dont capture the sheer power in her voice. I think a more stripped down sound would do her justice. I know thats how James Taylor went through as well.

Being promoted on the radio or the charts doesn’t equate with greatness. She’s great, but actually can sing unlike some of the half dressed 20-somethings Nashville is propping up. This young woman is like the love-child of Dolly Parton and Nanci Griffith and probably knows exactly what she’s doing. She don’t need no radio airtime. Radio needs her. Look how hard she tries to nail that lyric- she ain’t singing it. She’s presenting it.

I listened to this about 30 times at work today. Had to put my beats earbuds under my blutooth earmuffs because 3M limits the volume and when she belts out "sorrow" in perfect pitch, it needs to be LOUD. Amazing.

And this girl got a double dose of it...the way she is able to work her voice is nothing short of spectacular. I just saw Sierra in her hometown of Charleston, WV at tiny bar called the Empty Glass. It was a fun post show night at the glass! Her and other local musicians graced the stage of the empty glass just to have a little fun. It was an amazing night!!

you've got a lot of wonderful learning to do. i recommend starting with Ken Burns amazing documentary series "Country Music" so you see how rich the history is and how things connect and how far modern day "country" is from this kind of music Sierra sings, which is way more connected to the lineage than the crap pop Nashville churns out @@LimitedHandles
