Loved this episode! Sierra’s magician monologue had me DYING. Also, side note: Kid Cudi has put out 12 albums in the last 16 years, the most recent being two albums this year that had almost 40 songs between the 2 albums! A majority of his albums average around 18 songs per album so his discography is actually pretty big!

I feel exposed by the avid birder discussion. 😂 I’ve seen over 400 species and I will Absolutely pull the car over on the side of a country road if I see an American Kestrel on the power line. My husband is NOT a birder, but he loves hobbies and supports me and the craziness.

Thank you so much! Omg… It’s kind of silly, but I’ve always really loved Bufflehead (a duck). At first glance, they’re just black and white, but when you look closely and the sun is shining on them, it has iridescent feathers that are so so striking… a metaphor for life. Honorable mention are the Phalaropes because they’re one of the few types of birds where the female is more exotic/prettier than the male 💁♀️

The twin boys I nanny are runners. They are so wild. If I had to go into a crowded space, with BOTH OF THEM by myself I 10000000% would be putting leashes on them. Bcuz I simply cannot run in both directions to chase them both 😂

Hearing you guys talk about birds is so funny because I own a cockatiel, and she likes to sit on my head, so I have become accustomed to her flying full speed at my face and scratching up my forehead to sit in her spot on my head 😂 And this is to the point that when I’m in public I literally tilt my head down when birds are flying around because I’m in the habit of letting mine sit on my head 😂

Leash moms can also have kids who are on the spectrum. My son with autism has very limited safety awareness. He’s 3. He’s also a twin so I have two 3 year olds I have to run after, one of whom is afraid of nothing. The leash is absolutely needed and I totally get it now ❤

Im a mom of a 5 year old and she likes to walk ahead of me or randomly stops while walking and im very stressed about if something were to happen. I do not have a leash BUT I have wrist straps that attatch my wrist to hers and hers doesnt come off unless the magnet from my wristband unlocks hers. I have only used it once when we were in Niagara falls with our large family on clifton hill where there are so many dark alleys and creepy strangers all over. I also had a 1 year old who was in the stroller and my 4 year old and 2 year old nieces. So we had multiple kids to worry about. I had an extra wristband set that my brother in law used for his 4 year old who has ADHD and RUNS. I love it and dont regret it. It doesnt feel like im walking a dog and she had free rein of her hands. id rather have the safety and look stupid than have my child stolen because i was worried about looking dumb. I also have OCD 😂

My older sister was a wanderer but predated the backpacks so my mom would loop a leash through her overall straps as a makeshift kid leash when they would go to large gatherings (like Disney) My little sister was a runner but knew how to undo her backpack chest strap and would unhook herself so the back pack didn't work on her so I think we did the overall trick again

I'm usually a podcast listener only and had to hop on youtube and make a comment that I'm married to a man with the same name as my dad (no, I don't have "daddy issues" lol). I almost swiped left on him on Bumble and THANK GOD I didn't. The name thing really isn't as big a deal as you'd think. I call my dad "dad", not by his first name. And I've only had one occasion where someone got confused about who I was talking about - context is important :p

Wait, maybe it's just me and my family, but we all call our partners babe or baby lol. As if that was just their regular name. Even in public around friends. "Hey babe you ready? Babe do you know whats happening?" Etc. The only time I say his name is when I'm mad. Or like really into saying I love you Larry. Lol! So I honestly wouldn't care if he was named my dad's name.

Sex is not everything is my thing. The emotional connection has to be there. They can be a 10, amazing at sex, but when the sex is over, what is there left to say or do? I get it, but other things have to be in place that can get me to stay, even if the sex is good. I like Palomas rating of 7. Sexual compatibility is preferred, but not a deal breaker. Discussions can still be had.
