What you described about walking right into a bullet etc. is a known phenomenon called "target fixation" and it is the tendency to move towards the thing you are concentrating on. It is a common issue in car accidents.

Suggestion for a build using your rainbow/golden crate mod: Take Old for the smaller field and collect 6 cactus clubs. Use your special chests to stack broken tooth and scared sausage. The cactus club projectiles cover the entire smaller field and make enemies hilariously slow while they burn out.

The rocket launcher had 183 and then it went to 193, shredder was 91 and went to 96, its not a bug

Can't wait to have that patch too. For the explosions: I turned them of in the options. You still see some sort of explosion but the white circles don't appear anymore. You can see better what's going on and you don't get an epileptical attack :).

Explosive bullets should have lower explosion damage higher %damage reduction but give ranged attacks chance to explode. Great video as always!!

The shredders also pierce and can do multiple explosions. I'd say they are better than rockets for hordes, but rockets are better for bosses.

one thing I would suggest, is actually once you reach wave 20, in the shop, go and recycle all the items that you only got to increase harvesting, you had at least 1 fertilizer, and I think at least 1 wheelbarrow, that was 2 armor you could have gotten back at the end.

It could have been unique if it made all your already range weapons fires exploding bullets and increased the explosion damage Thin a SMG that always shots explosive bullets. Wow amazing and that would really have made the item unique Great video as always. Hav a great day

Explosive Shells (the Unique u unlocked) should give 60% of damage as aoe and consider every weapon as explosive, then it would be Unique. You go with a full elemental build and turn it into explosive with that.

the thing about "hunting" bullets is that moving things in caos often mean powerups so we think hey its gonna help me compeletely ignoring the danger cuz were way to focused on shooting and stuff. i hope i could help solve the mytery of "hunting bullets":)

It's cool that you aren't using the explosive stick. We can imagine what a melee version of explosions look like, and showcasing previously existing explosive weapons is unique as well. I've been waiting to the explosive trait be min maxed so I'm happy regardless of which weapon you use to do so.

I'm proud you're playing multiple runs and uploading the best one, worth the effort imo.

The problem with plank may not be a problem with plank. The actual problem is that melee needs an overhaul. You effectively get infinite dodge with ranged weapons since you can kill enemies before they touch you. Melee should produce similar results but do it in a different way, to be interesting. Imagine that it came with high lifesteal and armor, for example.

So how do weapons that scale with multiple damage types, like the plank, even work? Do they get a boost from all stats or do they only count the highest stat - for instance, if you have 3 melee and 5 elemental, will the plant get damage from both or only from the points in elemental?

Explosive shell hopium changes: add an additional explosion to your weapon so if your weapon already 3xplodes it explodes twice and if it doesn’t it just also explodes now plus the stats it has now

For the explosive rounds to be unique, it should make all projectiles explode, even if in a smaller area than natural explosions.

Saw someone call the plank the exploding stick...which means the dev should have made it look like a particular historical grenade. It's even called the Potato Masher grenade...

Nuclear launcher being 900+ coins AND it is a rare weapon. You would have to hoard money like crazy, effectively killing you're run, while hoping RNG gives you the item which is extremely unlikely. You were playing the character that is tagged to get explosive weapons and you only seen it once at the very end AFTER you already built up your launcher chances by having 4 other launchers.

the explorer with about 70+ luck is crazy for getting items, you should try it, the amount of trees gets crazy, but if you don't kill the enemies then it's pretty hard

I think the legendary item being unique is due to its name and origin. 'Explosive Shells' as the shell of the missile is getting upgraded to 'explosive'. That is my comment tho, it would be pretty cool being not unique.

Tried making Artificer with Planks work at D5 but so far no luck. 15 runs in furthest i got was wave 18. Purple planks only have 35% explosion chance so it feels really weak as a weapon.

how can you get the 2 new characters: hunter and artificer?

I'm loving the new beta build , it has addressed most of my issues with the game and I have finally cleared Danger 5 on every character. My biggest concern now is that there are many weapons (such as the nuclear launcher) that I would love to make a build around, but because they are only tier 3 I have to play half a run with the hopes the weapon drops.

1:13 my dude its attack speed is literally .01 slower than the shredder. The comparison is 50% explosion size and 3 penetration vs 25% explosion size and double damage. What your feeling is all the extra damage on the explosive plank being wasted on overkill vs the shredders extensive aoe damage, with the game tending towards large numbers of weak mobs the weapon with more aoe works better (the shredder) .

Honestly I've yet to play my copy of the game I bought on Steam because if the Dev continues to nerf things for no other reason than they are powerful I will be refunding the game. It would appear that certain youtubers, "Cough* Reto *Cough", have the ear of the Devs. Pretty much as soon as he uploaded what can only be described a super lucky god run with the Hunter and Crossbow as he complained about how "Broken" and overpowered they are, they both got nerfed. I'm not trying to be disrespectful Sifd by mentioning another KZfaqr in your video but I just had to bring that up. It isn't the first time a certain KZfaqr has called something "Broken" or overpowered for it to then be nerfed shortly after. Nothing is "Broken" by being overpowered in a single player game unless it actually breaks the game. The stupid high prices of some items translates to the average player never getting to use them and it will be rare that even the best players get to. This is supposed to be a game where you make the most overpowered ridiculous builds you can come up with and enjoy the chaos and carnage that results. Instead it's turning into a Roguelike grinder that I didn't sign up for. Which is fine if that's what the Dev wants to do but I did not buy a Roguelike when I bought the game or at least that wasn't what I thought I was buying. Instead I thought it was supposed to be more like a Vampire Survivor type game which I very much enjoy. So with the continued nerfs to things simply because they're to much fun, the stupid high prices in the shop or inflation driving things out of reach and no endless or infinite modes, I will more than likely be refunding the game. I will wait and see what direction the developer decides to finally take but right now it isn't looking good... Thanks for another entertaining video Sifd and all the work that went into it...
