yeah, bought the waypoint. Did the fluted barrel and the adjustable cheek rest. 6,5 Creed. Thanks for the details on the Christianson arms and Cross rifles.

Looking at a MPR on gunbroker in 7PRC bidding for 1100usd. I’m going to pass. Don’t trust Christensen too many reviews about poor QC and buying used is even more scary

We have very similar rifle interests. Thanks for the info! I can't get over how handy and small the Cross is. Really like it's aesthetics

5:23 to add to that, you can also adjust the cant of the butt pad on the cross. Take the length of pull all the way out, and on the front side of the butt pad you’ll see 2 screws, you loosen those to cant the butt pad. After I got my cross, I thought I would’ve still have preferred to get the Q Fix, but I’ve come to really appreciate the aics mags over sr25 mags and really love the tool less adjustability of the stock (besides the butt pad cant) but I’m never gonna use that anyway

Got lucky with my waypoint. Shoots 1/4 moa with berger 135s Love the way the agc stock fits me like a glove. I also prefer a more traditional stock.

One good thing about the Springfield is I think that it can be moved into a 700 chassis... I really want to pick up a Waypoint with adjustable cheek piece

My mpr works great been hunting with it 3 years now only issue I had was ftf and it was the magazine the mag lips got weak over time because its plastic and so it push the ammo at a 45 angle and cant feed until u only had maybe 2 rds in the mag. I had C.A send me out a new mag and i compared the 2 and found that was the problem. Shoots accurate and feed and eject is fine now.

I've been running a Sig for several months and at first, the accuracy was exactly as you describe. Somewhere between 250 and 300 rounds, something amazing happened. It starting shooting bug holes with factory Hornady 140 grain American gunner ammo. Far and away the most accurate rifle I've shot and it does it consistently now. I have never cleaned the thing either. Also, as for the loose stock, I experienced that as well but a little Loc-Tite and a bit of torque and it is nice and solid. Great video by the way. Well thought out observations. Oh and you might want to edit the title of the video... "Christiansen" as opposed to "Christian" make a little difference. LOL

Been looking at a lightweight chassis style hunting rifle for deer for 400 yards and in. Sounds like the sig is the ticket.

To bad you couldn't get a cross without a barrel... I wonder what I could get out of a new factory barrel 🤔 I wouldn't mind having one in a 6 creedmoor

I got the Cross in .308 for $1450. The best it shoots is 1.5 Moa with my 168 handloads ive tried everything and im thinking about rebarreling to another caliber but I really like the gun itself. I did go back and forth on the Christensen but with everything I've heard QC wise plus 2/3 friends with problem Christensens I really didn't want to roll the dice. If u wanted to go Springfield i would just buy another T3X Ember

Try and re-torque the barrel. We have found that they come a bit more loose than what Sig says they should be.

Don’t be afraid to try the Christians and Arms I own three and a friend of mine owns one they all work perfectly. Maybe it’s just the lack of the draw

I guess I get why you painted the rifles, but what a shame to paint the MPR, it’s such a pretty rifle. A few years ago, it was my number three choice for a precision rifle I was looking to buy. That number three ranking had a lot to do with how it looked, admittedly. I was hoping to get a DD Delta V Pro in 6.5 Creedmoor, but they were backordered for months. I settled on the Tikka T3X Tact A1 over the MPR. The action was much smoother, I liked the beefier weight for a precision shooter, and I was just much more familiar with the brand. Haven’t been disappointed, it’s a fun and accurate rifle to shoot. Enjoyed the video and subscribed, even if the MPR paint scheme makes me sad. 😂

Also, with the action problems you’ve had with CA, makes me feel like I made the right choice. 👍

Sig cross 6.5 creedmore hands down is my go to now. I hunt Northern AB huge elk and bucks,. Never a problem taking down big game. I used my Winchester 30-06 the last 20 years and finally moved after trying out a friends Sig. Great adjustability, light and very accurate. Love the AR platform and use front hang carry. I use EDL-X and SST 143gr bullets. I also use the Leupold VX-5HD with custom turrets set for long range shooting, MDT Bipod and a liner compensator. Average kill distances with 6.5. 400-600 yards with proper placement. If I don't have the right shot, I don't take it unlike many irresponsible hunters out there.

thats a nice setup. These days I shoot Ars more than my bolts and love my VX5HD on my deer rifle

I’m running a 6.5 cross with a VX-6 3-18x50 and it is lights out a shooter. I would says it’s a sub inch gun with hand loads and have zero POI shift going with a can or not.

Really like the Sig Cross .308 I have other than its trigger. The trigger is serviceable/works okay, but it's not really precision rifle trigger - too much creep and not a crisp break. But that's Sig for you, triggers are always the weak point of any Sig to me whether one of their rifles or pistols. Unfortunately with the Cross you are stuck with a proprietary trigger setup, no alternative to it. Still, like it very much in spite of its trigger - light weight, shoots great, and ergonomic once you get right pistol grip (the MPA VFG like on your Christensen Arms MPR) and add the polymer foregrip onto it. If I were to do it over though I would 100% go with a Tikka T3X in a KRG X-Ray chassis instead based on the .17HMR T1X in KRG Bravo chassis am running for my rimfire precision rifle. Absolutely proper stock precision trigger and phenominal shooting precision/accuracy for less than $1k. T3X/X-Ray chassis would be as adjustable/ergonomic as the Sig Cross while still having short 70° bolt angle and smooth action and incredible stock trigger. Weight wouldn't be that much more either with a 20" barrel and it would come in $100's less than a stock Sig Cross and outperform it a little bit in shooting.

I bought a Sigcross over a year ago and it's not all that for the money. I'm more happy with my HOWA's
