People that would say the G19 was a perfect carry gun were fooling themselves. Myself included, I carried one for a lot of years. Finally making the switch to a P365xl.

I have carried many different guns. For the last year I have carried the gen 5 g19 mos with holosun 507c and olight ok mini 2. I did purchase the p365 sas and after shooting regretted it and it sat in the safe. I purchased the p365x slide with night sights and the Romeo optic and now I love the p365. This was the first Sig I had purchased but I still feel more comfortable with a bigger gun so I carry my g19 almost all the time. 3 days ago I purchased the p320 x compact RXP it has an amazing trigger, suppressor height sights, and the Romeo 1 pro. The thing I can’t get over is the feel in your hand the ergonomics are perfect not like a Glock. My gen 5 g19 mos will become my home defense gun and my carry will be my p365 and p320x compact. Glad you found the right one for you after trying it out. I've been using the G43X and just bought the M&P 9mm Shield Plus. 10+1 and 13+1. The size and weight are very comfortable to me when shooting.

I've had the P365-MS for 2 years now and it has been perfect except for 1 FTE with crappy Russian steel case ammo. Because I wear size XXL gloves I carry it with the 12 round mag for the extra grip length. I put in Mag Guts plus 2 spring converter kits in my mags so now I have 14 plus 1 in this little concealed carry pistol. Pretty sweet set up and surprisingly accurate.

I’ve been a Glock guy since the late 80’s, they are just dependable. I’ve carried the 19 for years. I bought a 43 when they became available and I love it. I just couldn’t see myself going with anything but a Glock. I now own the Sig 365,365x, 365xl. They are good guns. The xl is probably the best shooting gun of the three. The x is probably the best carry gun. If I had to pick one it would be the X.. I still carry my 43 quite a bit to. It’s hard for me to give up on Glock!

welcome, thats my EDC also. My hands are medium to small and the 365 feels great. mine came with the SIG night sights which are terrific. Love it and have no regrets. I rotate between my glocks and revolvers, but always go back to the 365 after a day or so of another firearm.

Just purchased one in the "tac pack" Like you said, it feels good in the hand, the sights are good & the trigger is phenomenal.

Great video, thank you. I have a similar situation. Started out with a stock p365 & Glock 48 MOS (skinnier G19/longer barrelled G43x). Upgrades= p365-12 & 15rd mags, hogue grip, manual safety, X slide w/ Romeo red dot. G48= 15rd Gen 2 Shield mag, grip tape job, Trijicon night sights, Holosun 507K red dot. Both are great shooters. I'm having bit of a learning curve with the Romeo vs iron sights. I prefer Holosun. For me, p365 in t-shirt weather, Glock 48 in layer season. Gracie Barra FTW!

I was new to handguns when I bought my first p365. It just came out, and I was having trouble finding one, so I rented it and a few others a couple times to decide what to get (Glock 42, 43, some 380s, m&p, bodyguard, 938, etc). Nothing shot like the 365 in that size range, including the glock 42/43. The recoil was managed so much better that my shots were tighter and more on target, not sure why though. I had almost settled on a used Kahr compact 40 when a 365 magically turned up (wait-lister fell through and the gun store guys liked me). It was very early on, but I had no problems with that gun at all. I even-traded it when the manual safety model came out rather than modding it (a different set of gun store guys liked me). It's the best damn gun I've shot of all the guns I've rented and used, and the only handgun I've owned. Perfect for me, not the strongest shooter nor largest bodied. I carry the flush mag when I'm concealing on body, the 12 when I'm open carrying or in-bag. I have sanded my mag bottoms smooth and round, and contoured my frame, too. I just love the thing.

I felt the same way when I first fired the P365, I had a SW M&P 9, I sold it. I also picked up the Tac Pac, all 12 round clips, super easy to shoot, almost no recoil, I practice one handed on occasion, I installed a Lima Laser, I can’t see owning a different subcompact 👌🏽

I got my p365 in July 2019 and I am still using it,Had nothing but good luck with mine and I have put every kind of ammo you can think of through mine,Easy to conceal and light weight with ten plus one, I still have my Glock 26 gen 3 and always will,But I will keep carrying the p365 until I have a reason not to

I've had many (over 50) different modern firearm manufacturers polymer guns, never had any quality or reliability issues. 365 is a great gun, I sold mine and kept SA hellcat and walther PPS for summer carry. Walther REALLY shocked me!

I was a glock fan boy also until I held a hellcat with a holosun 507k on it, I went back and bought it 2 weeks later and love it.

Shield Arms makes mags and mag releases that increase the Glock 43x and the 48 to 15 round flush mount. I love it.

I agree, and the same situation with me. I have carried the Glock 26 for a LONG time and now I edc the Sig p365. I will get the 365x and xl models soon. I own Glocks, Sigs, Canik, SAR, and a Taurus G2C. But my Sig p365 is my edc and will be for years to come.

Highly recommend you check out the MagGuts +2 kit for your 12rd magazine. It adds only 3/8" to the bottom plate but allows 14+1 carry in the P365 with the same form factor and flawless function of the 12rd magazine. The 15+1 i fine for range toy, but ruins the main draw of the pistol...being tiny tiny tiny and high capacity. The Lima365 is a nice add on as well. :)

I have many glocks but i agree the 365 feels better and still has a higher capacity than the comparable g43. Just got it in and its made before the sept 2018 “fix” so hopefully it runs smoothly

I’m a Glock guy also…own several…my wife took over my G43 for herself. I went to gun store, was actually looking to get another G43 or a 26…they didn’t have any, the shop worker said check out this P365 NRA edition…if you like your G43, you’ll like this. He wasn’t wrong…loved the feel of it immediately. After putting about 50 rounds down range…sold. I use it for EDC a lot (I tend to rotate guns depending on how I’m dressed or where I’m going). I have no complaints with this gun.

Im with you, I have an extra slide for my 365 with a red dot and 12 round magazine, I carry with my plain jane base slide and 10 round magazine 95% of the time. keep the weight down and don't need the extras the sig night sights are amazing so why change it?

I too like the P365 for EDC. Even though I have all versions of the Shield, including the new Plus, I still prefer the Sig for carry.

You should try the Magguts +2 kit: with only a barely noticeable additional 1/8", you'll be carrying 14+1 (only 1 less than the MUCH larger Glock 19). And the very inexpensive Sig flat trigger will also make your P365 feel noticeably better (but without changing the trigger's internal feel). Another similarly inexpensive upgrade (since you're always carrying the 12 round mag) would be to swap in the P365XL grip module, which has a slight flare at the bottom for faster reloads, a slightly larger beaver tail, and eliminates the 2 part grip (which can cause an occasional pinch when changing mags) for a more solid feel. You might also like an extended mag release (I went with the Zev Z365) for easier mag drops. Last point: try Underwood 90 gr. +P Xtreme Defenders, since the short barrel of the P365 makes for very uncertain expansion with even the best JHPs, which ceases to be an issue with the barrier blind XDs.

Hearing your thoughts on the p365, I know you will be even more blown away with the p365XL! The XL could be your go to home defense gun. Plus since you like using the 12 round mag you could swap the slide with the xl frame and create the p365X for carry.

Same experience here.. I guess one thing that got me was the point of aim difference between glock and sig p365. Don't get me wrong I still love my compact to full size glocks but yeah p365 is the only way to go in the small pistols

Agree with everything you said. Stock out of the box. My 365 feels good and comfortable in hand. Shoots great. (I) didn't really notice a lot of recoil. Double taps where quick and accurate.

365 is simply great. I was torn between the 365, the Hallcat, and the shield plus though.

I started off with the G26 as well. Settled down with the Sig P238

Magguts makes innards for the 12 round sig mag that increase capacity to 14. No fundamental change beyond spring design. Costs almost as much as a new sig mag, but having a 14+1 mag for carry makes the p365 more compelling imho.

The original issue with the 365 was that the barrel was unlocking before the firing pin was fully retracted and you would get primer drag and eventually broken firing pins, you would see some really ragged gouges in the primers. I own the 365 XL so I never saw the problem. I think Sig beefed up the firing pin and might have changed the recoil spring as well. A friend has a newer 365 and we don't see any signs of primer drag no matter what ammo he uses. For home defense I have a Sig P210 Target, sure it is 8 +1 but I'm not going to spray and pray in the house and it is extremely accurate. The spec for the 210 was 2" groups @ 50 meters, I'm not that good but I can do 2" or less at 25 yds all day. Being old school military I am used to the 1911 and I am more comfortable with the weight of an all steel gun.

I could have did this same video. G43X with the 15 round mags was my go to. But once I discovered the SIG P365X it was a rap.

The P365 is nice, but I preferred the hellcat over it. And I'm actually looking at a. Glock 43X right now, MOS.

The Mossberg mc1sc and mc2c are very reliable and affordable guns…I have at least 1,000 rounds through both and no failures at all

Have you had any problems with optic getting loose, the screws shearing, or the MOS plate bending on your G19?? Any tips on mounting the optic to the MOS system??? I hear the 365XL is optic ready right to the slide with the baby version of the Holosun.

Same here, I went back and forth from G43 to P365, even the day before I made my purchase, I was going to go get the Glock. I rented and shot both to compare again. My final verdict was, if Glock made the G43 with 10+1 capacity, there is nothing more to consider. But since they don't (yet? as of Dec 2021 - the 43X doesn't count, extra height therefore not same size comparison), I decided to get the P365 for now, and if/when Glock makes a high-capacity G43, I'll get the Glock. G43 Pros: The field strip/takedown for the Glock for me is more intuitive and simple versus the Sig, and the internal safety of the Glock is better (more redundancy, e.g. firing pin block). Cheaper magazines (P365 mags are $50+!!). $50 cheaper ($450 G43 street price versus $500 P365). P365 Pros: 10+1 capacity for pretty much the same dimensions of G43 (6+1). Stock metal night sights. Better feeling trigger. Better grip/stippling/comfort. Available in external safety variant if that's important to you. Both shoot well and accurately and I think they are both as reliable and reputable brands.

I went with the XL. It looks good, it feels good, it shoots good, and it conceals good. I doubt I’ll be replacing it anytime soon

I just ordered the P365. Just waiting for the store to tell me that it's in. ....and the previous handgun I owned was the 43x. I guess this is confirmation that I got a good thing.

Well it seems that now everyone is jumping on the sig band wagon, not me, there will always be just one more great gun coming out, I'm not switching, too many different magazines /cost. I'm glad your happy though, .

I did exactly what you did. I carried aG26 for years. Bought a p220 and started carrying that. Then jumped to a 226 Legion and carried that for years. Just recently converted to a 365 XL and have not gone back. My brain finally accepted that I now carry a smaller pistol. Took me a while to get used to it but I did.

I’m a true Ruger fan but respect those who use Glocks and Sigs. As long as you’re carrying and trained, who really cares 👍

Gotta check out Magguts products. You can get 14 rounds in that current 12 rounder you carry.

There are so many good options out there besides Glock, especially now.

i'm a die hard glock fan boy. love glock, always suggest glock and trust glock with my life. WIth that said.... i carry a p365. didn't like the grip on the 43x/48, loved the s15's but i preferred a smaller gun. i just recently upgraded my p365 to a spectre comp with a wilson combat p365 grip. love it. still love glock, but the p365 has a special place as well now.

Had the same issue with my G26 as I have smaller hands. A friend let me shoot his 365 and I shot it better first time than 1000 rounds through the 26.

I carry Glock because all of mine work, my Sig didn’t. Also got a Hellcat which is nice. May start carrying it.

P365 feels good carting it but I don’t shoot it as well as a g19 so I went to mr920

Glock 43X for me with 15 round Shield arms mag. Tried the 365 and XL and did not fit my hand well. Trigger sucked. Your mileage may differ, try before you buy.

I would never carry a full sized gun for concealment That being said my open carry is a Glock 17 4th gen. But my concealed carry is my lovely p365.

I did the total Opposite That is funny (this video) because I did the exact opposite of *Lone Star Republic.* Bought a SIG 320C for concealed carry after using Glocks for years. _BUT..._ I did not like the slightly long, too smooth trigger that I could not feel the reset. Also, the SIG internals were more complicated than they needed to be., with a Glock it is much easier to "gunsmith". So I bought the Glock 43X with fixed night sights from the factory and am *_very happy_* with it for CCW/CHP concealed carrying. _How many Bullets is Enough_ Oh, round count in concealed carry self-defense is irrelevant according to non-gun salesman & the facts (FBI an average of 2 to 4 shots are fired in all self-defense incidents a year in the USA). God Bless NOTE: Do not listen to gun store salesmen, just saying.

The words Glock and Innovation haven't been seen together long enough for it to drink and have a license. Reliability may be priority number one but the entire industry has been slowly moving past Glock for at lest 3-5 years now in features for the same price and moving whole segments of firearms forward into the future. I would rather have some hiccups in production and actually get a new gun that moves things into an evolutionary product. Ergonomics and grip angle are very poor on Glocks as well. I have medium small hands like you and the 365 with the 12 round mag is magic. Its contoured but thin, its just about perfect for a super small pistol.

Now with the sig macro: Sig just clicked in a corporate meeting and said “lets make the glock 26/19/17 size weight capacity obsolete” since they have held the standard for decades. This gun might make me finally trade over from my glock 19 They already have the 15 round mags. They are going to release every version first, then sell the one everyone wants last, a flush fit 15 round 365, no comp, optics ready, and retains factory night sights.

I've got 4 GLOCK'S 19-26-17-22 & my 26 or 22 would be the last one's I'd EVER think about getting rid of... I EDC my 26 summer & 19 winter

If Sig came up with the P365 optics ready that would be amazing. Or at least place the rear sights Of the p365x into the og p365.

I'm a Glock fanboy, but that doesn't mean you can't like anything else. I've got Kahrs, Smiths, Rugers, and a smattering of others. Funnily enough, I took my Smith 9mm and my Glock 23 in .40 to the range today, and I outshot my Smith 9mm (which has a custom trigger fitted) with my Glock 23, it's factory trigger, and a punchier caliber. Personally, I didn't like the way the P365 felt in my hand when I tried it, but to each their own

I did the opposite, Sig P365 to Glock 43x for the same reason because the Sig is a tad too small for my hand. Never been a Glock fan at all but the 43x is the exception. I like HK.

Hellcat for me. More options and better conceal-ability. You have the OEM options of 11, 13, and 15 round magazines. It's light weight and optics ready. The one I have has a 4lb trigger on it and I haven't even installed any after market parts on it. Also has a non-proprietary rail, unlike the Sig. I've fired most of the micro 9's and it's not even that snappy. But I am glad you were able to find something you like. Carry on!

I switched from the Glock 43 to the Sig P365XL. It's just better in every way.

Now go buy a P365xl lower from Osage and level up. They are 40-50 bucks and you have one pin to swap..You can run the 12rd'ers flush and your grip feels that much better.

Can't say the same for the G26. I had so many FTE's it was ridiculous (Gen 4). Range officer didn't believe it, so I handed him the gun with a full mag and he had 2 FTE's as well. I would never trust that particular gun, and while I've owned a G17 with no issues - the fact remains; Glocks CAN have issues. For as god damn ugly as they are, it was easy to switch to Sig (p365, p229) and I could care less about the G/1x series.

To each his own, but I would choose just about anything over a Sig P365 or any US made Sig for that matter. There are so many other, better, options available.

It’s no comparison the 365 shoots better than the Glock and holds more rounds for the size of it and also great shooting gun
