I've got a hack. Get a power bank in the shape of a flashlight (cylinder), and get a QD flashlight mount to picatinny rail, and a short wire.

Nice review… Thanks. Recommendation only… Buy a round battery charger and put it in a cheap scope ring that can attach to a rail. Use black electrical tap if it’s a little loose. If you buy a cheap ring, make it a quick detach. Makes it easy to store.again, just my two cents. Oh… if you keep AA’s in the scope… you can buy Energizer batteries that guarantee they will not leak or they will pay you the device. I had bad luck with Duracell leaking and frying my electronic ear protection.

Heck yeah man! I’m definitely going to use your power cord hack. I have the bigger scope and ran through 8 energizer lithium batteries last time so I got one of those $30 battery packs from Amazon and have been trying to figure a way to rig it all up. You just solved my problem.

Excellent video again 👍 I bought the 2-16 model after watching your comparison video a few weeks back. Have now ordered the magnetic cable, as like you I was a little worried about snagging the cable and snapping the little plug. I use the scope for ratting so I’m constantly in and around places that snags can happen. Thanks for the hack Huw

I own the 4 x 32 x 50 using the standard IR light, and have engaged coyotes at work out to 250 meters. I use a .223 rem

@@H.A.B.Outdoors at that range, the coyotes eyes are very visible and the coyotes body outline can just be made out. My round drops about three inches from a 200 meter zero. So I aim at the top edge of its body.

Thanks for the info. Good review. Question, will the rubber power cover close with the magnetic cable adapter attached? In other words can you leave the adaptor in the scope take the cable off leaving the adaptor in the scope and close the rubber cover? Thanks

It’s just a little shy of closing completely. If you do a little trimming it may close enough. I was gonna try that myself and just forgot. But thanks for reminding me. lol

Talked to Sightmark. They have a new rubber seal where there is a smaller cover so you don't open the entire area, just a smaller opening. Still not sure it will bit but the scope should be in tomorrow.

if i put external battery onto the scope do I have to remove the 4 internal batteries or can i keep them inside the scope. the charging cable head, can it be left attached to the scope when not in use or does it have to be removed. Thanks

The batteries can stay in. Scope will run off of external battery and not internal

Thanks for those hacks and tips. I'm running a wraith, 2x-16, and went coyote hunting last night and was very disappointed with the performance of my light. I could only see about 60 yards with the factory light. Definitely looking into upgrading the light. My hunting buddy had an ATN scope and was able to see across the field like it was daytime. Looking at a coyote reaper or foxpro light. Any thoughts on those?

Actually the light that comes with it is plenty out to about 200 yards. You have to adjust the light in and out by turning and pulling/pushing the end. It will greatly improve

Just got the sightmark wraith 4k but it's does sit back far enough I have it at end of picatinny rail on my sig ar but would have to eat a mouthful of metal to shoot the thing? Am I missing something?

@iwetardid78 I'm not at the house currently and my memory isn't the greatest. However everytime I have an issue I just slowly insert. The wrong direction won't let you out in even if you push hard. Sightmark is pretty good about that
