The theme was actually made a long time ago, as Sightseer was meant to be the 2nd boss I made for the mod. It is a collab between Yuri O and Ninjakittens.

Added note: I have since released a small patch for this fight to improve and balance the boss. This includes nerfs and buffs to different attacks, along with minor improvements to visuals.

mixed on this one. the biggest critique is that phase 1 looks a lot harder than phase 2, and the boss looks a bit too tough for the stage of the game it is in: ‘why would I not fight skeleton instead, as it is substantially easier’. that being said, big fan of the visuals and sprite, although dont like the theme much.

Phase 1 is much more simple in many respects than phase 2, though I do believe the boss needs more tweaks. The big issue right now is that some attacks are a bit too long, and others need more of a wind-up before they start. Also: While it would be fair enough to fight a later game boss first: The mod intends on eventually replacing all bosses at some point. The difficulty gap is just an unfortunate result of working mostly alone and not having a lot of time and energy to make these bosses quickly.

Nice to see a video on this one! I will admit that it lacks some polish, as the limited amount of beta testers and community feedback has made it harder to find what is wrong and adjust the fight accordingly. I plan to hop on soon release some much-need balance changes soon. It also died really fast here due to the Krypton Scepter, so that might get another small nerf. As for tips for anyone looking to take this thing on? Move minimally in phase 1, as most attacks start up right away. The fight is based on illusions and trickery, and while phase 2 might be more aggressive, it can still be tricked.

its a really good rework or whatever it is. does go away from the fight but i think thats how this mod is really. and what i mean is that most its attacks are projectiles and eoc is a melee boss but again its still interesting. i do say some attacks seem a little weird like the dashing attack where it has a few illusions but i mean its still learnable and thats how boss fights are. the one where it summons like reflections of itself to dash at the player is weird too but i think its just a collision thing so thats fine

Both of those attacks are based around the boss attempting to distract the player with false versions of itself. They are a bit tough to learn, but they are not too different than what BoC does for the most part.
