I have been an ongoing 5th year sigma chi member. The brotherhood is like no other and while although there maybe squares and people hiding in vents, there is an overwhelming feeling of brotherhood and maybe even more. Just like what the man said, when I look into the eyes of a beautiful brother, I feel something special in my heart and in my lower regions. I am now happily engaged to a fellow brother and I can’t thank sigma chi enough for that.

Makes me cry with joy every time I see it. My father is a Sigma Chi, and I should be going through in two weeks after an 8 month pledge quarter. I didn't make grades the first time, and I was so close. No words can express the joy I have right now, but this video sums it up pretty well. In a couple weeks when I am no longer a pledge and hopefully a brother, I will watch this video with even a greater appreciation for Sigma Chi and all that it has already done for me.

Unfortunately I know a lot of Sigma Chi's at my school that do not follow these virtues. It would be ideal for these guys to be what they preach they are, however their recruitment does not prove this. You can talk about friendship, justice, and learning all you want, but no matter what you say nothing justifies rape or sexual abuse. This is not a blow to Sigma Chi, but more of a reminder to all Greeks to stay true to their morals. Wear your letters with pride, don't take them for granted.
