The most important thing I've learned through my breakup is to learn to love myself. When you can be happy knowing that your ex is living their life and you're living your life that is the best you can ask for. Obviously everyone wants that opportunity to rekindle with an ex but overall you have to rekindle that love within yourself

Finding someone new immediately after a break up or a divorce doesn't really mean they moved on. They are in a rebound and couldn't be whole within themselves to truly love and care about that new person. They didn't heal from the dysfunction or chaos from the relationship or marriage that just ended.

true but not really I think it depends on the situation. I broke up with my first BF long time ago he got a rebound relationship and he couldn't handle it and right after he immediately contacted me...We also had friends in common so they constantly told me how he was doing even though I didn't want to know since it hurt. I also live in a different country so it depends on the situation.

This truth is, when a person breaks up with you without provocation they do not love you. In most cases they never have. If you did nothing incorrect. You treated them well. You were the same person that you have always been. You are not in love with that person . In most cases, you are in love with whom you thought they were. When are about to release that, you are well on your way.

I know my guy won't get back to me..I don't even want to address him as my ex.. I still love him like crazy.. but I went out of contact for 2 months now.. but I will pray for his happiness till I die. I'm happy being honest to him even if he's not there with me.. My ex blocked me for 4 months, he unblocked me on and off after that and he suddenly makes the first contact last 2 months. We communicated for a short while like once a week till recently once every 2 days. His getting engaged soon, and I thought he starting to reach out to me to get me back but when im be honest and let out how i felt, his being cold. My ex and I dated for 6 years, he got a new girlfriends a month after we broke up and getting engaged after 7 months dating. Im totally devastated cause i still love him. I done my best and all im doing now is rely to god and may fate come its way...

I ended my relationship, I did acknowledge I made a mistake as I was being pushed horrible things said to test me and I wasn't being heard. So from there she played games making contact and playing around. It's been almost 2 months and some contact all from me. I even asked her out for a coffee and she said no. Largely I made a mistake, but I asked for some space. But she's now saying I broke me her trust? I didn't cheat and apologised for my decision. I get it, but all the way through the relationship I treated her with respect. Only the other day I realised I was getting nowhere and as hard as it was I said goodbye and wished well merry Xmas and NY etc.... she replied back quickly saying it was nice to hear my voice etc.... I don't trust her now with what she's sayings. I politely again replied and said glad she's found her solace, all the best.... she again replied that afternoon saying there was no hard feelings from her end? Really? Is she playing me? I didn't respond. Just like that all over. I I'd be Lying if I said I wasn't hurt. But what did I do? Her words were more cutting. But she focuses on the trust being broken. Not what she contributed. Could somebody let me know there thoughts.

Loving someone and not being with that person can cause a tremendous amount of pain . However , all I read in here is that I’am waiting and hoping he/she will get back to me . I been there many times myself but I learn that sometimes is not meant to be no matter how much I wanted .Let go , everyday is a new day and the pain will be less and less.. Wasting your time on someone that left you ,is not ok ! You will never , ever have this wasted time back to you again . Life is very short . Who’s meant to be yours , is gonna come . If is your ex he/she will return so stop stressing and aggravating your nervous system. Let God bring to you what’s yours . Maybe your ex is not the ones and that’s the reason he had to go . If you don’t release him/her you don’t make space for someone new to come in to your life . There are lots of people out there . What most people need to understand is that you can’t force a relationship. If the communication is gone between you and that person, there’s no need to overwhelm yourself into believing there’s something there when clearly it’s not. Focus on yourself and loving yourself. That’s where true happiness is, within yourself. That’s shows confidence within yourself to attract love again.

If they left you, you will be very hurt but I promise that one day you’ll realise they aren’t worth your energy anymore, you’re only holding yourself back because you are scared and doubting yourself, take the time to heal yourself through eating well and socialise when possible, meet new people, focus on rebuilding your life and you’ll be happy, some people are very nasty and you can’t keep looking for answers, they suck.

I don’t understand… and I don’t think I will ever understand. I would like to share the ending of my relationship. My ex broke up with me and she’s been committed to it. She claimed she wanted to heal and ofc I couldn’t disrespect her decision. I did try to persuade her to rethink this decision but ofc it is my fault for causing this break up. I was not the greatest partner but I loved her with all my heart. Still do til this day. Everyone likes to profit off of the “no contact” but why… how can someone who loved each other so much just disperse? All those memories? How can someone just say “no.” I keep pouring my emotions out to the woman I love… but I can’t get a single thing. Why has everything changed so drastically in so little time?!? All this healing she said she needed.. why does it have to be alone? I’ve always supported her and have been there with her all the time. I’ve done things out of my way to be there for her when she needed me the most but why… why is this happening… where’s the love gone and why can’t she give it another chance… does she love me at all…

My ex broke up with me almost 3 weeks ago.. I'm not going to go over the whole story because it's too long and painful. But basically he said 2 weeks before he broke up with me that he wanted to see me walk down the aisle and walk towards him. He said the he can't wait until summer because we're going to do this and that. He never showed that he was going to break up with me. He cuddled me so much, kissed me a looot, came and gave me warm hugs and kisses on my forehead so many times a day.. the same day he broke up with me he told me just 2 hours before that he loved me and that he wanted to be with me. Then he said he was going to the store and after a while he texted me saying he wanted to break up.. he told me he had been thinking about breaking up for two weeks. But he said all these cute things and we're the most affectionate under these two weeks, he was always like that.. yesterday he asked when I was going to get all my things, though before he had said I could have them there for as long as I needed. He said that it was hard for him to constantly be reminded of our past together and he wanted to move on, but when he broke up he said he doesn't love me anymore. It's so confusing?? And he also added yesterday "I know you're hoping we'll get back together, but that won't happen and if you want to know why we can talk about it" Please help me analyse this? I'm totally heartbroken and confused. There's so much to the story but it's too painful to write everything here..

He didnt try because he thought I wouldn't forgive him, in my heart I know he is right... I'd take him back, I'd fight like hell... he moved on and we don't know each other anymore... This January 16 makes 2 years divorced, over 3 years without intimacy. Why do I miss him so much. Why do I keep feeling my heart break for him. No contact other than short co patenting responses... it sucks

Your x will want you back especially if you guys had a life together. Do not over Persue her. Allow the time to cool down and work on yourself. If it’s true love they will come back even if you are believing that they are playing you or not into you remember that you have done something wrong and they will not forgive you right away. I just want to let everyone knows, not all the cases are the same, during the time we separated, I developed myself a lot, cuz I moved to his country for our future, then I tried to show him that I could still lead my life very well without him, I learned german, made my own group of friends, go to sport on regular basis (even he asked me out I still insisted to stick on my routine life) I found a job and handle well my school....all in all I did all I could do from those NC rules. He felt me attractive bur still didn't want to be back in the relationship, what can I say then?

Ladies, if a guy doesn't contact you within 30 days. He doesn't want to share his life with you anymore. It doesn't mean he doesn't love you, he just don't want to be around you. And there's nothing you can say to change his mind. Because 30 days is to long of time to be away from someone you want to be with.

So I broke no contact. We had a 6 hr conversation about what our issues were with eachother. I wasnt satisfied...my issues didnt get resolved. He didnt say what he would do differently when it came to my needs being met. So later that day I brought it up...it started a arguement and now he says he doesn't want to work it out...he doesnt like whats going on and we can just co parent. Its so hurtful how impatient he is being and cold when i wasnt the reason we broke up. Its like he has control now...and im just getting crumbs..but no contact has been killing me. At the end of April, I contacted her to see how she was doing. This is the convo. Me:"Hey, how's life?" Her:"Life couldn't be better! you?" Me:"That's good what new?" Her: "Finding a new job, going on adventures with my boyfriend." Me:"Oh nice right on." The next day she ask if I was home because she wanted to say Hi for a min. I wasn't home that day. She added me back on facebook at the beginning of this month after declining it in January. I was kind of surprised. Yesterday, I said hello to her and she said hi back. I was with someone for 2 years, engaged. We broke up & 2 weeks he got with someone else & moved her to Texas. I was hurt but the only thing you can do is really look at yourself & decide if you will allow someone to treat you that way. I decided I didn’t want to be with someone who made me want to kill myself. I didn’t get a boyfriend after our break up, I just became a much better person & I’m impressed.

Dropped over 40 pounds and packed on a lot of muscles. Best I’ve ever been in my life; not one compliment. Oh well; dating life looks bright at 39.

Update: When I focused more on me and got to a point I loved myself at the highest capacity; my perception of things changed. No more attachments or neediness. I let things come and go like seasons and people are the same. In the end, she now wants to be “back in my circle” but I’m a totally different person now and only want things that compliment my life. Sorry👋🏾👋🏾...I’m understanding that relationships can be a catalyst. Stay loving yourself, get better in every aspect, live your life with purpose, and be open to the world....your soulmate will show up; but it takes time. Hope you all are doing well.

Last month on 29th may my bf of 4 years broke up with me just because he got bored and he doesnt want a relationship more. He just stopped caring about me since a year but i did everything i could to maintain the relation but last month it ended. He's not a bad person, he just doesnt care about me anymore. After the breakup i watched your videos on youtube and i did the no contact rule, travelled places and was trying hard to be happy and somehow it was working but then one night i got his text saying how sorry he is and i am the best person he lost and all and then i talked to him, but next day he again acted like he doesnt care, when i asked him frankly he said he doesnt want a relationship with me or anyone...but still we tried to work but then again one day he stopped picking my calls , even though i call him maybe twice a day..i just stopped seeing his efforts after a week maybe. He just dnt want to do anything with me, we live in the same campus and he dsnt want people to know that he's talking to me again. When alone he acts right but when in public he just change. And now we arent talking anymore. I said pretty rough things to him and even apologised in msgs but he left that on read and never texted back. He thinks i'm needy and i dnt have a life , but the thing is i really want him back in my life as we were, he was so in love with me and he was the best thing that ever happened to me. And the way he is now just make me cry every day and i dnt know what to do. I dnt have enough money for ur sessions and i really feel hopeless right now...i dnt have the capacity to pick myself all over again. Even though he make me go to my dark side i still want him back and really appreciate me like he did. P.s he hasnt blocked me from whatsapp but he did blocked me from his social sites many months ago.. Today also he saw my status and i know its not a big deal as he sees everyone's status too. I just dnt know what to do to make him commit..because since before i met him i knew he had commitment issues but aftr i met him he was so in love with me he even told strangers how much he loved me and all but now he doesnt even want anyone to know that we're talking. Since last 1 year this all.is happening and its really making me a crazy person, i have said and things in anger i never ever thought i would do..but this relationship has really made me so miserable but again it made me just so happy in the beginning of 2 years..it was like a fairytale.. Now i'm just all fuked up mentally and emotionally and currently i'm doing mbbs so i need to study too but i just concentrate and because of the fights i already have flunked and lost my 1 year and i dnt want it to happen again.. 1 month since the break up and i've done so many stupid things to piss him off and now that i ended up with partial blocking on social media. I fucked up, I cheated on him and I regret it so much. He hates me now and I hate myself for doing that to him... I've lost everything now. I feel so low and have tried to re-establish contact but he said he's not interested. I've never grieved the loss of him before and its 8 months later... I just want my family back together now. I honestly hate myself, I deserve everything negative from him. I'm so lost - but he doesnt care anymore, but why should he? 13 years of my life just gone - please, think wisely before ever taking your whole life for granted folks.. My boyfriend asks me for break right now. He says he lose interest on us because he has to study full time and work part time and we have been together for 7 years long distance. We meet once or twice a year on long holiday. He grows tired of it. I finally able to pursue my parents to let me marry him but my bf says its too little too late as he is now working and studying struggling financially on his own. He wants break so he can have more time and fugure out with his new busy life that tire his energy. Still.. he told me he does not want a break up goodbye but just taking a break.. a step back so he can recharge refresh and firgure out his life. I dunno.. I dont want to lose him.. I love him dearly he does not even want my help he wants to struggle himself. He wants me to stay in contact with him but more like friends. I hope.. this will go well for both of us.. Im scared..

Then asks me a year ago to reconcile after 2 years of Jezebel’ing me, not letting me see my kids. lol... I’ve moved on. She betrayed her vow “thick or thin”. I acknowledged my part. Cleaned my side of the street. Found a new love and life is good. I feel bad for my ex. She fuggged up. She should’ve hung in there.

I dated this girl for 3 months before it went down hill & I applied no contact for 2 months before she approached me at the gym that she works at & that I happen to go to for 2 days of the week. She tried before to get me to be friends but I blew her off & she tried again after no contact. I just dont feel the same for her even if it's just a friendship. I don't trust her anymore during our very short friendship when she assumed something that I just can't forgive her for. Everytime I go to the gym & see her I don't say anything to her & I don't even look in her direction just so she won't think I have feelings for her even though I do have a little soft spot for her but I think it's because I'm still hurt. Actually, the only times we've talked was because she approached me. What do you guys think.

TheangryKid I rejected my ex when she offered friendship. Slowly it drove me crazy to be without her, I thought to myself she can never see me change if I never speak to her again. It’s been 2 weeks since the break up and we had 9 months together. It’s very very rough, understand she may move on into a rebound or be very dry to you. If you want her back you have to do some sacrifice but you can only follow your heart. It’s great she’s reaching out to you, she may secretly still have feelings you’ll never know until you try. Personally I’d take the offer, I am yet to discover what will happen with my ex too. I wish you the best of luck on things getting back to how they were

I spent the last month of my marriage being generous, patient, kind, considerate, loving. He ignored me, stayed out all night, left early, refused to touch me, refused to speak to me. After 30 days of that stonewalling, I moved out. He said he needed time and he was going to stay at a hotel for a week, I didn’t understand that and I felt that it was time for me to go. After eight years I know this man and this is never happened. Sadly I got my own house, the only three times he ever contacted me over the next 100 days was to see if I paid the house insurance, to see if I did my own taxes, and if the let me know he was ready for the next steps. I filed the next day and we were divorced May 15. This is my only marriage so I’m very sad. I hope there is a good life for me after this.

So about a month a go my ex broke up with me and just left. He told me it was him and not me. After about 2 weeks if not talking we got together to pack his things and we both cried. Our communication have been on and off for 3 more weeks. The last time i messaged him to come over because someone had told me from his place of work that he had cheated on me and thats why we split. He came over immediately because i was upset(he wants to be friends after 9 years together. He says im amazing amd sweet and he wants me in his life) he calmed me down and reassured me that he would have never have done that and i know him. He reassured me that the girls he works with start drama because he wont sleep with them (hes hanging out with them because their work friends) but he says he feela absolutely nothing when theyre all hanging out. He just needs to distract himself to make him self less numb. He told me he broke up with me because i did everything for him and he didnt deserve me and everything he was doing lately was causing me unnecessary anxiety. I dont know what to do because he says he loves and misses me so much but he wont come home. Im stuck because hes my best friend and i dont think i can go without contact, but i think about him all the time and i get depressed. 😞 were hanging out tuesday and hes giving me my key and helping pack some more things(hes storing his stuff at my place) im so stuck please help 💔

How are you doing now? Honestly from what I read, to me it sounds like the rumors you heard were probably true and he didn't want to be in the relationship because of the guilt he felt. I hate to say that. I think it's wrong the way he treated you. I hope you are doing much better and have moved on. I am in a similar situation right now with my ex. We didn't have an actual breakup. She tells me she wants me in her life always and can't live without me but doesn't want anything romantic anymore. This was a 6 year relationship literally gone in an instant. It breaks my heart. Everywhere I look I am reminded of her and she was my best friend too. She texted me just the other day and said, "I don't want to lose you" I said "why?"
