The interviewer (Terry Wogan),says to Sigourney-'well i hope you do slightly more genteel movies,and thank-you for joining us'-at the end-as Sigourney mentioned the bugs in Alien 3

Because she was made to revolutionise the industry and to advance horror. Back then, apparently, women were more seen as secondary. I'm not hardcore about women's rights etc. But I do think she helped women to be seen as more of an equal.
