Siheyuan style houses Abandoned and Derelict. Constructed between 2014 and 2017, the complex original cost $75.000.000 to build and was named Chinese Style Confucius Mansion by its owner. Set on Lot 88, a number symbolizing fortune and good luck in Chinese culture.
One of its buildings is adorned in bright red and yellow which are lucky colours in Chinese tradition, more than 80 rooms including 20 bedrooms with ensuites, several kitchens with private dining halls, a library, multi-functional theater, museum, and multiple large conference halls.
There are also swimming pools and four courtyards, designed according to Feng Shui teachings.
The property was left incomplete after the owner had to return to China due to his parents’ health issues, and then COVID happened it has never been lived in. It was recently sold days before its due auction for an undisclosed amount.
