I stopped half way just to say that my 7 y.o. daughter memorized some verses of the Quran - Ikhlas, Falag, Nas, Ayatul Kursi etc., because we recite them on a daily basis, we didn't teach her specifically, she just listens for couple of days or weeks, then suddenly recites the whole surah which proves that it is possible for kids to memorize the Quran. btw we are non arabic speakers and we live in a non-muslim country.

My wife used to be Sikh a she accepted Islam more than 18-19 years ago and she literally turned me into a better Muslim and has brought up our 3 children with Islamic guidance alhumdulillah..it is not us that guide but its Allah swt who guides. May Allah swt guide us all to the straight path ameen.

I don’t agree. I may be wrong but I had a feeling that he tried to put words in the brother’s mouth. Brother Muhammed Ali had to constantly say: “I did not say that”. And when brother Muhammed Ali answered a question, like about us being eternal in a different way, the shikh guy acted like he didn’t understand him. That’s way I had a feeling that he came with a agenda, but because brother Muhammed Ali is a very educated muslim Allahumabarek, he could not succeed in his agenda. Allah knows best.

Millions of people memorize the vedas , and this has been happening for 1000s of years , Samskrit is the best language for preservation of knowledge Samskrit itself means well perfected language Samskrit is the origin of most of the Launguages in the world On the other hand , Arabic of koran wasn't even properly created 1400 years ago, that's why there are many versions of koran with different dialects

Same with me when my father recited. By age 5 I memoized the 30th juz just because of his recitations. While I started to learn to read Quran by age 6. The teacher was flabbergasted how I was reading it😂. Then my mother told him that i am reading from memory. And that he has to make me learn the alphabets

What creature resulted in the evolution of an ape? Do you believe this universe came from.. nothingness? A big bang is just a construct of different atoms different molecules that came from nothing and then just *poof* this universe created by that effect? Everything in this universe has its own purposes, just like how something cannot be made from nothingness... The shoe you're wearing almost everyday when you go out is sure created by a shoemaker/ shoe producer right? Whether it was made in a factory or hand-made, and that shoe was designed in such a way that it would fit into our different daily needs (running shoes, casual shoes, sneakers, etc), and by this information we could come to a conclusion there has to be a shoe designer before a shoe is produced, right? There's always a designer/ creator/ producer for everything that we are using nowadays, and these things serves different purposes, this is the same thing as to why and how God literally exists and us humans serves a meaningful purpose in life. Another example are the bees, without them we wouldn't be having honey that they've produced from certain pollination process and whatnot (can't remember if its the correct process or not but you gotta see the point that I'm making). Honey serves its own purposes as well since it has healing effect to our own body, and it could serve as an alternate to sugary sweeteners. Or a silkworm that could produce silk for us to use, stars that helps us in creating an astrological compass or some sort to help us navigate better at the back when times (even still to this day I believe, with a much more refined compass as we know it). How about the sun that serves as the source of light that creatures in Earth rely upon? Even the ocean serves its own purpose, teeming with marine life and provides many benefits to us humans as well. Everything has their own purposes, and nothing could come out of nothingness therefore there has to be a designer out there that designs these wonderful things that we are seeing in this world, that is the One True Creator. God. Allah. The Creator.

The Sikh gentleman is quoting a Sufi idea about love for God and not heaven or hell first articulated by Rabbi’a Basri. There are writings of Muslim Sufis which are in the Holy Book of the Sikhs . That is where it comes from. Sikh belief is most aligned with Pantheism and Panentheism.

Sikhism in nutshell is combination of teachings of hinduism and sufism ( I'm not saying Islam). Founder of sikhism Baba Guru Nanak took stuff both from hindu and sufi sources and made a mixture and then added some innovations on top of it and made a book called Guru Garanth. That's why when he died people were arguing whether he was a Muslim or Hindu? The innovations are like men cannot shave any hair, and have to wear bangles, carry a dagger, etc

Sikhs literally made their own religion about 400 years ago. They collected it from Islam and Hinduism. Emotionally and psychologically disturbed people, we pray to God Almighty, Lord of the Great Throne, to guide them to the true religion.

No they are more in tune with hinduism with a bit of sufi poetry thrown in for good measure, like hindus they believe in karma, reincarnation, pantheism, basically hinduism without the idol worship or strict caste system. Their caste system more cultural than religious not as oppressive as that of hindus
