I absolutely loved this game man the story for all 3 of these girls were so damn good and messed up the chase scenes are fucking stressful as shit and love Anita's dialogue every time she dies it adds so much to the realism

Bruh, for some reason, I feel like I'm one of the only few people who liked this game. Reading everything, purposely walking slowly to increase the fear, the music. Honestly even if i figure out the story gist by the end of chapter 2 I loved uncovering it. Honestly my biggest issue was that her character model looked low textured compared to the rest of the game. Also who uses the front of the phone for a flashlight? Just crank up the brightness??? Use the back for a flash light and you can still see the phone screen smh

The game only just came out and you already have a review; impressive or worrying? Anyway, not the Konami IP I was hoping for but your reviews are always good quality and you have caught my curiosity. 0:30 - This awareness even plays into the title. It's literally the short (and important) message they have to give. The constant presence and use of the phone also ties into that theme. 1:50 - So there are some subtle storytelling elements; some of the game and theme explored through level design like this. It's just the core message that is made so blunt and clear. 4:12 - It's cherry blossoms? I thought it was paper-notes, much like what was on the walls. A real solid monster design. 5:38 - Nice to know everything is answered by the end. Sounds like it's short length allows to to be an experience that is solid enough, avoiding going on too long to the point where it starts to sour.

Although I appreciate it for being a free game. If the marketing strategy was to get me hooked on the future full game being released next year, it failed. As a free game it was fine, but 2-3 hours was enough, I would ‘t pay to play a 20h version of it.

I mostly agree. But i was kinda confused by one thing. Spoiler warning. U can find a note(?) in a trash can that reads "pregnancy test: positive". And i don't think thats ever brought up again. I thought at first theres gonna be a twist where it was revealed that maya got pregnant from the guy she drew in her artbook, which is why she was called a slut in some of the many letters on the walls. But no. Unless its the abusive mother that was reffered to there. But why was it in Maya's studio then?

I like your review and your take, but i just really didn't like it. I honestly stopped playing the game at the start of chapter 3 because of how repetitive it got and how unlikable the main character was. The voice acting/script was also not great with her constant comments about everything. I feel it could've been better if the game let the player figure out the story themselves instead of letting the protagonist yap constantly. But thats just my take

Genuinely one of the worst games I've ever played. Writing looks like it was done by a 14 year old. Not scary at all. Character is constantly texting on her ohone while a monster is nearby. Horrible voiceovers.
