Your Boat is a type VII A (7A) because the Torpedo tube is over the water.

Wonderful! I would've gone for an aggressive approach popping up now and then to sink the destroyers and sloops making it easier every step.

Taff, judging from her superstructure and her secondary armament....you just sank HMS Valiant. Only HMS QE and Valiant had those 4.5inch dual guns, QE had the same style bridge tower as Warspite ;)

Man I remember playing the silent hunter series.. the last one I had was sh4.. I loved the American campaign in the pacific. I hope someone makes more American ww2 sub games because most of them are all about German Uboats of course they are fun but I’d love to see a new one like the newer uboat or Wolfpack are both awesome looking. I’m gonna try them all once we get a computer with income taxes this year and I can’t wait I miss sub sims! Happy hunting fellow submariners!

Man that sinking music creeps me out everytime. I suppose that's appropriate to the implied destruction and loss of life. Good work Taff. Also that's snapshot was harrowing AF.

I was watching a documentary about uboats and the united states subs back in ww2 and in real life they had the same problem with experiencing dud torpedoes. Lol so you know their pain lol good videos

WWould it not have made more sense for the wolfpack to shadow the convoy and attack after dark rather in the middle of the day on a mill pond sea? That said it was fun to see the futility of it :-)

Whoa, those DDs are a mess. In SH-4 if you just sit at periscope depth with DDs around - you're gonna be sunk pretty quickly! Once they get the initial ping on you staying silent ain't gonna help. Oh and BBs don't idle around waiting for a torp - they steam the hell away, zigzagging at that!

SH4 is pretty damn hard because american subs are big and black, they dont blend with water and the calm pacific water isnt going to help any engagements below 2km is dangerous
