Beautiful. It took me back to a little white church Christmas eve candle light service in Dayville CT. We all gathered outside the church with candles and sang silent night. It was wicked cold with new fallen snow. It was so beautiful on that night. Thanks for evoking memories. Merry Christmas Scott.!

My grandmother had a pump organ and taught me to play it when I was a youngster. I wish I still had it. If you decide to play some more, could you do "Hark the Herald Angels Sing?" I had a beautiful pump organ that had been restored by the lady's husband. I got it for a bargain at an auction. I had a Victorian bungalow at that time. I had the parlor decorated with antiques. Nobody in our family plays piano or organ. When I sold the house and moved to a new build I sold many things in that room. My co-worker was a very talented musician. He bought the organ, bench and my Victrola. He played it so well. He played piano and organ for a Church. I was so pleased it finally had another owner that could play .Thank you for playing for us this Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas everyone.

Scott, thank you for sharing Christmas joy with others. I studied piano and enjoyed playing all the hymns as well as other popular holiday selections. I would try playing my grandma's organ as well. Yes, I actually applauded after you completed your song... I also crawl the keys on the organ or viola setting too... now you have inspired me to play Silent Night too - though not as well as you do - playing a bellows organ is like rubbing your tummy and patting your head at the same time! Absolutely beautiful. I am a pianist, one of my weird quirks, when I see others play, I try to figure out what key they are playing in. I'm guessing Bb ? I think I saw your hands go from Bb to F and I think I saw a Eb in there. Organs are not the easiest to play, beautifully played Scott.

That was lovely. My parents in the 50's started collecting antiques and bought a beautiful 1800's pump organ. They had it professionally refurbished and my Mom loved playing it. I took piano lessons and the two of us took turns playing Christmas carols every year-it was lovely. Thanks for sharing 'Silent Night' with us--it took me back.
