i understand this is a teaching video.But ,wow,what a waste of silicone.That stuff isn't cheap.

some people would spoil the ship for two penneth of tar. Wasting a bit of silicon is part of doing the job. If you dont overfill how will you seal into the cracks? So i would never try to fill any void with foam as it should be done with silicon to full depth - otherwise your silicon is laying on the tiles and not anchored into the grout joint!
