Yes but no. This is a reserve roastery, there are only six of them in the world. They are in Seattle, New York, Chicago, Milan, Shanghai, and Tokyo. There are Starbucks reserve bars (what you were talking about), which are sort of mini versions of these huge stores. They sell reserve coffee and some reserve drinks but those stores also sell all the normal Starbucks stuff as well. Fun fact: you can tell what kind of store you are at by the color of the Barista's aprons. Normal: Mostly Green/maybe a few black ones Reserve bar: Black Roastery: Beige (like you see in the video)

On how much it costs, it is for the rich people or folks who can afford it from time to time. It's a tourist spot also since a lot of countries don't have it. I prefer to go here than the regular Starbucks spots. The Chicago location is pretty nice.

So I will tell you, having worked at a reserve most of it is refrigerated not frozen, including the frittatas. (They were actually one of my fav items on the menu) We threw out the leftover frittatas at the end of the day bc we got new ones every morning… but yeah they were still premade. Other stuff wasn’t tho. All of the pastries were baked in house or baked at an off site bakery and brought in same day/next day. We also sliced our own meats and cheeses in house and compiled the pizzas, salads, and sandwiches fresh every day. It is not the same at all at a regular Starbucks where you literally throw frozen food into an oven and heat it up and serve it. They actually do some legit baking and cooking at the reserve 🤗

It essentially is an omelette that you finish in the oven. Why not describe it that way?

I also love to cook but if im being honest for me they're kind of similar just cooked differently, both are of course egg based, have some dairy and a mix of other ingredients of preference like meats, veggies or just herbs. The main difference is that the frittata is cooked slow in the oven, served opened face and at room temp. and the omelet it's cooked at a faster pace on the stove top and its folded over sometimes adding extra ingresients before folding and it's served hot.

All my favourite places are local, it's a nicer environment. The staff recognise me, and are always very nice, and the food and drinks are always good. They feel safe and homely. Obviously not everything can be local, but isn't doing some things locally better than nothing?
