Tocchet is going to win the coach of the year and has been giving out flowers all season. Are we really worried about some players, making millions of $ a year, getting their feelings hurt because coach is calling a spade a spade? I, as a fan, appreciate that honesty and the players that rise to the challenge are the ones I want on this team. The ones who get their panties in a knot can go.

This panel needs to chill. If Oilers new goalie maintains .905 save percentage, that may change things for the Oilers. If Peterson gets going, that may change things for the Canucks. Just comes down to which teams player will be the difference. Right now, it's any teams chance, but I'd give the edge to Vancouver seeing they have home ice advantage and better goaltending.

To me the most important player on any playoff team is the goaltender no matter who he has in front of him. Pickard played pretty good too. The goals against him were tip ins or deflections. But nucks have the right idea of just get the puck on the net and you never know.

Canucks play the scoreboard. If they are down two, they pull out all the stops, and they can dominate. If they are down one, they don't pinch as much, or overload sides and corners, until it gets late. They dominated the entire third, remember they were short handed for 4 mins early. They went 4-8 mins in the Edm end from 15:00 to 8/9 mins. They have been leading most of the games, and thus they are getting outshot and letting edm come at them - keeping them to the outside. You watch they will be up 3-1 after 20 mins tomorrow.

Hey Drance, so which is it? Ur bringing up parallels to 2003 Wild series, "plucky team" who won over the favourite, but then you say Canucks can't win by the way they're playing? 😅 You can hate the way they're playing but they haven't been blown out like everyone predicted, lost their top 2 goalies, suffered a suspension which had an impact, Petey not playing up to speed, and yet, the series is tied 2-2. That's the credit Rick is talking abt.

@@Jeremy-yh8lv Oilers arn't going to the cup .. let's be realistic here. Neither of these teams are. Oilers just don't have the D-men or the goaltending... it's a joke. Van would have a small chance of going all the way if their players wake the f up.
