How do you think Blaze and Silver met each other before the events of Sonic '06? This comic by the talented Deadny www.deviantart.com/deadny aims to give an answer...
As a side note, this is actually the first issue of a fancomic titled Hopeless Future - if issue 2 is completed, we'll probably dub that too!

This is absolutely adorable. I think this should've been how Blaze and Silver really met! Sonic Team be missing out on great story tellers. Also great job for the gal doing Blaze, I love Blaze being British!

Hi, the artist here to casually answer your question~ And the thing is, back then, no, I thought Blaze was 18 years old. I don't know where I got that information from, whether by asking someone, some misinformation from Google, or assuming it by the character's mature way of acting. Too bad because I based ALL the comic in Blaze having 18 years in the future, and when I discovered that she was 14, the entire outline and sketches for chapter 1 was already done... So I left it as an AU instead of a prequel of Sonic 06 :)

THIS WAS OUT AND I´VE NEVER NOTICE TILL NOW THAT I WAS CASUALLY PLAYING WHITH GOOGLE LENZ!!??? OMG!!! I LOVE IT!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ And I definitely prefer this version of the characters' dialogs to mine, it just gives them more personality. And helps me a lot to understand my grammar mistakes 😅😅 (This comic was originally written in Spanish about three years ago and I translated it into English with a little help from Google Translate back then. I recently discovered that it wasn't a very good idea but I found it very difficult to see the reasons in that time heheh) so if you see that I'm wrong with some English spealing, don't hesitate to tell me ❤

I just want to say, I really like this comic except it doesn't entirely work with Silver and Blaze because this comic presents Blaze as being at least a few years older than Silver, however, in game canon, both are the same age, 14. But I do still like this comic and at the end of the day, it's not like it's canon or anything and it's just a bit of fun.

In Sonic 06 , Silver and Blaze are nomadic survivors from the future . At the end of Sonic 06 , Sonic with Shadow and Silver destroy Solaris which causes the timeline to reset with some changes . The reset of the timeline results in the events of Sonic 06 being replaced by the events of the Sonic Rush games and Sonic Rivals games .

I think the comic was written by someone whose English was quite poor, so we just tried our best to make the characters say their lines in a more natural way
