The portrait on that denarius is incredible. The condition of it would have me convinced that it's part of a hoard and has been protected from its surroundings by everything else around it... Sorry for your loss. And the inevitable loss of your finger 😢

Great finds Danny as always mate! Would you say your finds rate has gone up with the manticore compared to the legend? Or just walking over it? Tbh you found a lot with both but does seem the manticore is pulling up more especially with romans

Thank you mate 😊👍. Definitely higher finds rate without a doubt, I'm 100% sure that it is pulling up roman coins that the legend would never see between the iron. The manticore is honestly luke a hoover and doesn't miss a thing. The legend is great for the money but it definitely misses a lot compared.
