Well done - like we were at different digs - my highlight was a musket ball and a button. Should have spent more time in that manor field😢

Probably the worst organised dig if ever been on 😂 shocking organisation and fields had been smashed 7-8 times.
@1AndyMead3 күн бұрын
Was interested to see you were over that way , spoke to a few others & they found it hard digging . You done well !! I bang on about the M9 , after a bit of wet weather it’s getting the same depth as the stock coil & the 15 inch with ease . Nice clip & you stuck with it until the end , top man 👍

3 lions on that medieval horse pendant ,all facing left , would have been the arms of england , full of red and blue enamel had it gone into oil straight away more of the detail and patination would have been saved 🙈🙈🙈🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
@0777cnut3 күн бұрын
I cringe when them stupid spritzer water bottles come out and the scrubbing brush , quickest way to absolutely ruin patina on bronze items , place them into an oily rag , olive oil , let them soak and clean later , preserves the patina much better , dump the stupid u tube spray bottles 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Great video as always , its good to see your views on the 2d screen. I tend not to dig the signals at the lower limit but I'll pay more attention to them now! One question, I don't really like the Arteseal finish on the coins as it looks a bit glossy and artificial, is ther another more matt product that you would recommend?
@DiggerDanMetalDetecting10 күн бұрын
@hectordetectorist6919 thank you mate, those lower limit signals are usually just the machine trying to say that there is something there, but it's not 100% sure. You'll find that once you dig them up, they will improve dramatically and usually land on the centre line. So always dig them 👍. As for the arteseal, that's my fault, as the lowest percentage I have, is 10% and it's not the best for coins. I would certainly recommend getting the 3% or 5% for coins, which I will be purchasing myself and it shouldn't be quite so shiny 👍. Don't forget you can use code DIGGERDAN10 for 10% off too
@markwilkinson874010 күн бұрын
Nice vid - very helpful as someone new to a Manti to see your target traces and what you are digging. Also helps to see some rubbish traces as well.
@DiggerDanMetalDetecting10 күн бұрын
@markwilkinson8740 thank you mate 👍. I'm still always learning the manticore, it's a very indepth machine. I don't very ofter use the screen, but reather the tones. But I luke the let the viewers see everything and like you say, it can be helpful in a lot of ways 😊. Take care mate, have a great week 👍

Just a word of warning Dan my mate went for a walk through a field on his cousins farm down your way wearing just shorts and trainers, he got bit and ended up with limes disease. That skin so soft works great for midge and mozzies, not sure about ticks though!

Pleace pleace, quit rubbing the sun cream on. You can't get skin canser from the sun. You need vitamin D from the sun. Suncream stops that from penetraiting your skin...
