Hello everyone, I'm posting this video to document my struggle with front brake rotor removal on a Silverado 2500HD/3500HD. These rotors are secured to the hub with a small T30 screw to keep them aligned vertically for pad and caliper service which is nice, but they can be a real pain to remove if rusted in place after many Midwest winters. I tried many things and this was the only solution that worked for me with the tools I had on hand. Thanks to one of the commenters on one of @ericthecarguy videos who mentioned using the lug nuts to back the pressure off the hold down screw. This tip saved the day and probably a broken T30 Torx bit for me!
