I just got this intake manifold off Amazon and want to say thank you for making this video because I was about ready to return it thinking I couldn't put it on my 05 Yukon Denali 6.0 which has electronic throttle body which making a cable drive won't be too difficult, now I know how to install this and I wasn't aware of the e85 sensor or the regulator I'll see if I can get those off Amazon as well

For anyone installing new knock sensors in their vortec. Torque spec on them is only 10 ftlbs. Do not torque to 15 lol

I’m almost done with my build bro last thing is what size was ur vaccum hose for your regulator and the size for your PCV line, and what was the little snap on thingy called

We use 1/8 vacuum line but will probably switch to 3/16 because 1/8 was a little tight but still worked with some persuasion. As for the PCV line I think it was 3/8 line but would need to double check but almost sure that’s it. As for the snap on thing are talking about the e85 sensor or the fuel line fitting?

@@thekingofnoobs8362 not at all my guy! The sensor is only needed if you plan on tuning for the truck to accept both 91 pump gas and e85, if you tune the truck only on e85 the sensor is not needed!

Unfortunately, you can’t run those on this manifold. I just deleted them and having the tuner tune them out. There might be a way to do it but will require fabrication.

Did you have any issues with the fuel rail mounts? I got this same intake for the 5.3 I built for my sons 85, running the multitech 2 injectors, I had to heavily modify the fuel rail brackets.

Appreciate it brother, I got mine e85 sensor from eBay I think and got my fuel pressure regulator from eBay as well just a cheap one two but it’s been working great. And you don’t really need the e85 sensor unless you plan on running e85.

Yes! These intakes are known to be loud! You can use Dynamat or something to quiet it down even just something on top of it helps, use your hand see how that changes the sound! 👌

Yes basically universal, you just need the get the pigtails and wire it into you computer and then get it tuned for the mix. You also need the necessary fittings to connect to your fuel lines. I noticed that too LOL it’s possible cause the square ports on the intake is larger than the cathedral ports on the cylinder heads making it able to work but there’s a big problem in doing this as it could cause a lot of turbulence but I think some have done it without any problems but using cheap eBay or Amazon fabricated intakes I don’t think anybody knows if it effects the turbulence and choke the cylinder heads or not

I think it is for the map sensor but mine didn’t fit with my style. But might fit with the newer style with o-ring, but either way I didn’t need it just left it the plug in.

Para ser el e85 ocupas las líneas de ptfe, la pompa para e85 y el filtro de gas que acepta e85. Solamente se ocupa el regulador si le cambias los injectores

Just disconnected all the lines and left a few hanging, tuner did the rest of the work!

It could actually go under the intake you just have to put it under before you install the intake we forgot so we just left it lol
