In this video I play all the riffs from Silverchair's Frogstomp album.
All parts played and recorded by me. No tracks were used from the original recordings.
Silverchair was an Australian rock band formed in 1992 in Newcastle, New South Wales, with Ben Gillies on drums, Daniel Johns on vocals and guitars, and Chris Joannou on bass. Silverchair have sold over 8 million albums worldwide.

A lot of the songs have little mistakes in them like timing or strumming, etc but overall pretty good man. I wish there were more silverchair videos like this

Actually sounds pretty accurate considering Daniel had only been playing about 4 years when this record came out. So the little timing issues give it character. Keep it up man, you sound good!

@@andrewbenks Super hard to believe Daniel basically mastered the guitar in just 4 years.... heck I have been playing 79 and can't even come close to his 4 years experience...lol... This band was seasoned musicians well before they were born.... no way humanly possible children could masters in the art of music with just 4 short years experience music exposure.... must be trained by Angels well before birth or direct reincarnated dead musicians 🤗

Thanks for including Frogstomp Andrew. That was my most favorite Silverchair album. With those first couple of songs Tomorrow and Israel's Son being the very main reason why I was first getting addicted to grunge/rock music back in 1995 along with Pure Massacre and Faultline. They were my major favourites that totally blew me away back in the day. I also love Suicidal Dream and Madman. Leave Me Out for me was much more better being played live (Much Music) than on the record. Thumb's up bro'! 🤘

Like and subscribed and hit the bell.... are all of Silverchair songs in Dropped D or just 80%+? I have never ventured into the Dropped D realm. The only exception was playing Kashmir in DADGAD... Nice Job Man

Silverchair's first 2 albums are hard rock classics. I still crank them up loud to this day. I started to lose interest in them with Neon Ballroom and can't listen to their newer stuff at all.
