Clive Shalice thanks Clive, really appreciate you watching it mate. the only issue I found with Silverstone is that the lap is so long and you really need to remember your weakest link in the track , the corner you are poor at , to improve on it so it’s a game of luck and less red flags and decent concentration to remember where you want to improve , I do love the track

@@ChasingTenths That's very true - a couple of the corners look similar too but with different apexes and that can be confusing! It's a lot of fun though! On a different note Abhi, what is the tank extender on your friends RSV4? Looks really cool!

Clive Shalice so so true about similar looking corners , he loves that extender , gives him support with inner thighs in corners . I really wanted that but they don’t make it for the RF models only pre 2015 ones . I rode an R1 at Jerez last year for one session with this extender and I really love it. There’s a British guy who makes them

Tim Higginson were you on there the same day Tim? Or one day before mine on Monday ? .... tbh I am so fed up with weather , it’s so unpredictable, can’t even cut the grass lol . Rain sun Rain Sun , and I really feel sorry for everyone who takes time off for Trackday and then it rains such a huge shame but it is what it is . Hope to see you on the track soon. Chasing Tenths the weather only stopped play for one session (Monday Track Day) and the track was very damp in the morning. Didnt stop me having a great day. I was amazed at how many super bikes where in the novice group, everyone was friendly though. I will be back next year!

@@ChasingTenths Its a lot of work...but a tutorial of the tracks that you have done can help first timers. The pain in the butt is the cgi. It needs to be drawn out frame by frame.

Also, I've used ZO4 pads and changed to the EBC pads, can't say I noticed better bite, but felt far more consistent in feel.

one off the better clips . fore sure you should check if you could fit the t-drive's brake disc's . monoblock can handle the heat, some pads just dont work i used dual DC from sbs and currently i have the race sinter from ebc . smooth feel overal and very responsive

Yes mate T drive is the upgrade I am going for in the winters I think my Z04 pads there were from the GP4RX calliper and mine was the M4 OEM Brembo calliper so definitely it wasn’t playing game. But I love these EBC GPFAX pads Absolutely brilliant pads

@@ChasingTenths never mix pads from differrent calipers ;) you had the results instantly coming with the right pads, my current setup is t-drives m4 monoblocks, corsa corto brake pump , steel brake line and brembo lcf 500 sweetes combo ever ;) atleast you have a winter to upgrade it ,

well i hope i can ride on track next year, 2020 changed plans, and my elbow needs surgery i am getting a second opinion on that in the hospital but the pandemic is throwing everything aside still trying to stay updated with racing stuff etc etc

great to see the Go-Pro setup. What do you do for sound? Do you use an external mic? Surely this footage was not done on the internal mic on the camera?

Bob Carter yes mate internal mic only but I need to put a foam (sock) cover on gopro which I forget to put on every time , that makes it even better and gets rid of any wind buffering plus a mini gimbal I always forget to put on. When I am on track there is so much to do but the foam sock really really helps with wind noise especially when braking hard the wind goes a bit crazy

I have sportec m7 rr tires on my bike, I was wondering what tires you run along with tire pressure at cold and if you think the m7 rr are confident tires to have on the track? I plan to have my first track day on my RSV4 Factory in the next 5 to 6 weeks in the states. If you could help out, that would be amazing! dope content btw!

RunDat RSV4 thanks mate, I appreciate you watched the content , I am a huge fan of metzeler, I really think they make a perfect tyre for road and track . The M7RR is my favourite road tyre , I run that tyre on 2 other bikes and it’s amazing . It heats up pretty quick , you don’t really need warmers. So definitely you can take that tyre to the track. When you get more competent then you can move to something like Metzeler K3 Racetec RR (R is road other R is race) rear and k2 front , it’s a really forgiving tyre. I am running Metzeler Slicks TD (Trackday compound )... but for you on your first Trackday M7RR is brilliant, just sort the tyre pressures accordingly and suspension too

RunDat RSV4 stick with metzelers mate and just learn their feel . They are German made and I really trust that tire
