in regards of your comment Serta about the rain - I am surprised that rain is not more popular in the lobbies (in the sims where it is implemented). It makes racing so much more exciting and kills the huge gaps between mortals and aliens. Additionally, you have 13sec gap to the car in front of you on dry? well the race is practically over. On wet track? give the driver ahead 5 laps and soon it might be only 0.7 sec gap.

I agree, but it makes racing also much more difficult, as you have reduced visibility (raindrops plus darker lighting), the grip is all over the place, your normal race line does not work and if the sim is worth it's money you'll have dryer and wetter places including puddles which means you have to relearn the track every second. It's immensely gratifying to even survive a race in the rain, but it's difficult and frustrating for many others (especially those who don't survive it). Most people, I suppose, just want to drive some sprint races to get away from every day stress and avoid stress on the track. I don't blame them. Diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks and all that.

So we should totally expect another AMS2 update by mid week then? lol. With WRC on sale, would it be a good buy if I enjoy DR2? Running an i7 14700k and RTX 3080 if that matters.

Nah, Reiza'll need some more time. Friday or Saturday, I'd say. :-) If you enjoy DR2, keep with DR2 UNLESS any of the rallies of WRC are especially interesting to you. The cars are the same - or even less. The 3080 would help, but the graphic problems are of the kind that can not really be solved throwing more GPU cycles unto them, but with dedicated programming. The couple of Codies left within EA are trying to solve those, no doubt. All in all it really depends on how much money 20 EUR/USD are to you. A lot? Don't bother. Small change? You may want to indulge yourself. Know what I mean?

Thanks for the super quick and informative response. Think I will continue to pass on it. I get frustrated when games run like trash on my system for as decent as it is. I'll take your word it's not exactly worth it.
