Really excited for the IMSA collaboration. I know it doesn't guarantee anything but I really hope to get the MX-5 Cup cars in AMS2

It can mean everything and nothing. Altho knowing Reiza it will mean a lot. Maybe not everything, but they have a solid sim with a great driving feeling and have a great track record. They can sit anyone in front of AMS2 with all the pride of the world and let them do a test drive. And then let them sign the license contract :-)

MX-5 just awesome for racing and attracts many people. Hope your wish comes true. Really hope MX 5 is one of first cars coming with AC 2 if its releasing into early access first. Great car to make people come back to a sim over an over again.

With Assetto Corsa 2 planned for release this summer, I don't know how Rennsport is going to be able to steal any of their audience away with this kind of road map. With all the (alleged) Saudi oil money behind the development of the game, you'd think they of be hiring more staff to get it out as soon as possible.

happy days, lots of news. AMS2 needs to update the POV camera and have option to disable the shacking. Keeps me from playing for more than 10 minutes.

AMS2 might be the 1st sim I've completely bought into that actually works out to be the best sim on the market..

For us, right now, it is. It's not without issues, but it seems as if Reiza are addressing those issues. Time, as always, will tell.

Thanks for the news. I disagree when you suggest LMU is failing to deliver, favouring AMS2 regarding endurance stuff.. LMU feels so much better than AMS2 in the similar offer, especially in GTE class. It is on a completely different level IMO...

Fair enough! We can only talk from our experience, which has been less than stellar. I'm happy for anyone having a great experience with LMU, and hope they prove us wrong in our skepticism. Having lots of successful choices is great for our hobby. Me, I can drive any day with AMS2 and have fun racing. I can't with LMU (yet, I hope...)

FFB is good. But not on a different level. It's a bit better but I find both titles have great FFB. Weight distribution is better in LMU for sure. But there are a TON of problems they need to sort out ( not least the BOP and use of assists, with completely invalidates the bronze/silver races ).

Is this conversation taken from a solo/multiplayer/both perspective? I only want good multiplayer and as far as I know ams2 has little to none. Lmu although prone to crashing is doing the multiplayer very well and I'm enjoying it very much. Would like to see more content and special events. I sympathise with those that want solo though.

The answer to your question is: Yes :-) We've acknowledged repeatedly in the past as well as in this video (check the last minute or so) that AMS2 needs to become better at multiplayer. Endurance racing as solo is not as much fun as in multiplayer. Both by driving against others as well as driving within a team. AMS2 has multiplayer, and the races of the AMS2 Community cup we've shown repeatedly show how impressive it can be. But it needs to get better. Much better.

@@mikecroshaw9233 FFB in AMS2 is also very good, althought LMU seems to have more "layers" to it, but FFB was not in my mind when I said it was in another level. I meant the driving itself, the simulation part of it. Whenever I drive LMU (or even RF2), I feel that I am really learning more about driving in both a simulation and in real life, whilst in AMS2 I only learn how to drive in that game alone, and I can not apply how I drive there in other simulations, let alone in real world... regarding the weight of the car, it feels only sideways, it does not really transfer between front and back, so trail braking is not real a thing in AMS2. At least it is what I feel. AMS2 is the game in which I have more hours and have spend most money until this day, but I drive it less and less the more I understand about cars and real expected behaviours.
