According to the patch before this, they DID do some work on faster loading times. But these have always been the scourge of anything rF2 related...

LMU is surprisingly good fun in “naughty / fake / unofficial” VR, so if it is this good in VR before even having official VR support, then I hope they sort it out. With 2024 tracks & cars etc it could be a very very good game, and I want it to do well!

@@WromWrom our PC is coping sort of, well, it’s coping enough to see what the game’s potential is, even in unofficial VR yes! I’ll admit, I don’t understand computer stuff at all, I let my boyfriend worry about that! 😂

The developments at Fanatec do not surprise me, in the least. German companies generally function on extremely thin margins, with an emphasis on cost cutting/efficiency; austerity and saving where they can, to the detriment of customer service, which historically has always been the achilles heel of German companies. Simply put, customer service in Germany is appallingly bad; I live here and experience it, everyday in different forms. I personally have no confidence that the situation with Fanatec will improve; austerity and cost cutting will undoubtedly remain Ruff’s main focus.

Also living in Germany, but coming from a very different culture I have to (sadly) agree with you. The customer is an afterthought for German companies and even for German subsidiaries of non-German companies. But as they all do it, people stop trying to change around, because all companies deliver a very bad customer experience. :-( And while i hope beyond hope you are wrong, I very much fear you are right. /sf
