Well you got me watching and re watching this video from the start to see what I had missed and then it hit me I go from 0 to 100% within a second of the video kicking off !

Thanks mate and it’s been a slow march towards this point over the last decade but over the last year a little bit more space and money has allowed me to really move my rig setup along to what I have today.

Looks great man. What’s the shift knob on the h pattern?

Thanks mate and it’s a generic metal round knob from eBay I brought many years ago. I wanted a grey or black one really but they had a 5 speed gate pattern printed on and this is a 6 speed shifter so found this one that has no markings on but is an odd colour if I’m being honest.

How far away is the monitor from where you sit? I haven’t been able to find the sweet spot with my similar sized and curved monitor to provide that type of view. Be really interested to know

Sorry for the slow reply had to dig out a tape measure to make sure I got my measurements right mate. The screen sits 15cm from the front of my wheel rim and 50cm from my face when I am settled into my seat.

Hi getting Fist wheel base set up , is the Asetek a good start and should i just buy the button box and not the La Prima wheel also are the pedals to hard for a 12 year old boy to use ? cheers James

Pedals might be a little hard. If you go with la prima bundle it should be fine

I am very pleased with my Asetek kit and think it’s worth the price because of the build quality, it feels like to could last for ever, but depending on budget there are other good options out there such as the Moza ecosystem. I would take a look at the Will Ford from @boostedmedia reviews of the Asetek La Prima bundle to get a much better idea if it’s for you mate. As for the brake well it is one of the stiffest out there but they do sell a brake elastomer kit that has softer rubbers in that might help.
