Am a second year student and still bad at communicating publicly. But just as @ the speaker said, "You have to do your own pushups and learn to be uncomfortable for everything we desire to have there is a price to pay." I challenge myself today to put myself in most uncomfortable situations ever to become a confident person i always dream to be. I am agree. I am an intermediate. I started reding english in class 8th and studied up to 12th only. After getting admission in BA history honours I had to leave college due to financial crisis in my family and we had to adopt some odd works to manage my family and me. At that time, I had little knowledge of English and I used to read urdu newspapers. But, when I came to know the importance of English, I left urdu and invest my whole vigour towards learning English language well. And the result is this. Today. I have been fluent in English communication and writing and reading.

I am a chartered accountant. I always feel that my communication skills are utterly poor. Namaste A few tips to decide communication mode 1. Call/Meeting a) If urgent needing two way communication b) Complicated discussion on multiple topics which would be tedious to document c) Informal, friendly discussion d) Discussion with multiple people for brainstorming etc. 2. Email a) Formal needing documentation b) Holistic expression of ideas c) Requires series of discussion and keeping track of history d) Generally non urgent , where response can wait 3. Chat a) Quick discussions requiring less time and where it is known that the other party is available to respond quickly/online b) Short messages where response can wait c) Expressing ideas using Emoticons
