These two sweethearts should never have broken up! With Paul's poetical, lyrical writings, and Art's angelic voice... This was a combination made in heaven. I'm still heartbroken after all these years, that they aren't even friends now. Still, we are blessed to have experienced them, and although I was born years after their beginnings, I am a die hard fan. I love them both.

You both didn't understand the comment. It didn't say it required a lot of work from Paul Simon to write, create the songs, but for them to reach this perfect synchronization and harmony of their voices. The technical work required to reach this symbiotic perfection and precision. That no doubt required much work. Though maybe, at a certain point it became so acquired for them to be almost automatic, as if they were a whole while singing.

I’m the youngest of 5 siblings and I remember the day my oldest sister brought home their greatest hits album. I’d sneak and listen every time she left the house. I was hooked on these two at an early age. I never got to see them live so I watch over and over and over their concert in Central Park. It’s just magical. Makes me sad to think I’ll never see them play together again. I tear up a little when they sing “Old Friends” as the time has come where “it’s strange to be 70.”❤️

The last song Paul Simon introduces, Overs, I've never heard. It truly shows his musical, lyrical, and instrumental genius. The style of this music is more like improvised jazz, almost a bossa nova style, as most of the guitar cording he uses, is diminished and augmented, more familiar to jazz chord structures. A brilliant instrumental accompaniment to their singing of this duet.
