"He didn't do well at PSG" The truth:Won all trophies in France, went to back to back semis in the CL, first manager to ever reach a semis with PSG, first manager to ever reach a final. It is a truly ridiculous assertion to say he didn't do well with Paris Saint-Germain ... He won EVERYTHING with the club domestically, and failed to beat one of the biggest European clubs on the planet in the final in 2020 ... Sometimes I wonder if even the well spoken Simon Jordan does enough research on a subject before he opens his mouth ... remember not all of your football audience only watches one league

Tuchel could be on his way to winning 2 CLs and losing 1 CL final in 5 years. That's pretty damn good for any manager. Why the hell would no one want him but Arne Slot, Ten Hag, Rueben Anorim, and others should be jumping off the page? I would take Tuchel in a heartbeat at United with a commitment to clearing the squad out.

I'm a Bayern and Chelsea fan (one through choice, the other blood. Don't kill me), and having seen him manage twice now he is clearly not an easy person to deal with for club higher-ups and players that need an ego check. We joke about the Tucheliban but I find his style of football to be effective and enjoyable to watch, and I was genuinely disappointed when they announced he'd be leaving (even if it was obviously going to happen). But if he rubs the owners and certain key players the wrong way, even if he's right to act that way, no club is going to keep him around. Which is a shame, because he's finally hit his stride with Bayern and it seems like the players are back on side too. Which is a very long way of saying Simon's not really wrong in the reasoning but certainly in the conclusion.

Bayern Munich's problem is that Uli Hoeness, who has made the club great over the past decades, simply cannot let go. Without an official function, he pulls the strings in the background as honorary president and publicly dismantles anyone who doesn't dance to his tune. Any coach with a difficult character like Tuchel will fail because of his own ego and the ego of Uli Hoeness.

PSG and Bayern fired Ancelotti. PSG also fired Emery and Poch. Bayern fired Nagelsman mid-season when he was doing a good job. These are difficult clubs to work for because the owners make strange decisions. Chelsea's owners are clueless. Chelsea dismantled a UCL winning team and that was incredibly stupid. They spent £1 billion making the team worse. Tuchel knows what is needed to be successful. He should be respected.

Tuchel reached the UCL final with PSG also 1 year before he joined Chelsea, which is a great achievement also. Tuchel is a UCL knockout cup manager. He is not perfect but he is a top 10 manager.

Tuchel is a good manager but am glad Jordan has recognised he over praised him at the time. Tuchel was poor in the league at Chelsea. He was lucky to get Chelsea into the Champions league in his first season, only due to the fact Leicester lost their last game of the season when Chelsea lost theirs'. I put Tuchel in a similar bracket to Rafa Benitez, capable of brilliance but ultimately a bit arrogant and overrated.

Your are pushing this narrative of Tuchel being devisive, protecting Chelsea and PSG owners, which is understandable given the fact that Simon is an ex-owner. What you have to remember is you never heard Tuchel side of the story, you just decided that Tuchel is difficult to work with and that is baseless, just like saying Tuchel is a Cup manager when he won the league in France, and challenged Pep and Klopp and got 3rd twice

I love how when Simon talks about Tuchel, he never takes into consideration he was managing Chelsea through an ownership change that was on the back of an incredibly strange period with the war. Every press conference was about the war and its impact on Chelsea. Not only this but he then went through a divorce. Like, cut him some slack. He deserved at least one more season at Chelsea, the owners just wanted to make a power play.

So if PSG and Chelsea get rid of a manager your first assumption is that the manager can't manage up? HE won the German Cup at Dortmund and In 2 seasons at PSG, he won the league twice including the quadruple in the 2nd season and he got them to a final in the Champions league. He won the Champions league, Super Cup and club World Cup at Chelsea and the League Title at Bayern but Simon doesn't like his attitude. The problem is that Todd Boehly is not exactly an elite sports director and Simon was hardly in a position to win anything major as an owner so he thinks managers shouldn't voice their opinion and owners are always right because they hold the purse strings

Look at the situations Tuchel has found himself in. All had major issues going on that had nothing to do with him. Chelsea, Boehly and the ownership change. PSG, a total basket case. Bayern, already in serious decline. I think be deserves more credit for the success he had in these placed than be deserves criticism for how they've ended. And mind you, his Bayern time still has the chance to end in a Champions League trophy.

Ok so Simon heard from Bohley why he sacked Tuchel. So that is now gospel? Maybe hear from both sides before putting out into the world how bad a person to work with Tuchel is. And let’s remember, Jordan got his side relegated and bankrupted them. He was only ever chairman in the Prem for a year. So he’s got about as much experience as the Luton Town chairman!
