Fantastic move! A liverpool fan and legend of the club coming back to oversee the new era. Smart individual who is going to see a growth and expansion of the club. Early steps being made already to keep the club grounded to stats and have everything in place for the next manager coming in. Also this opens the door for FSG to acquire another club in another league with Edwards overseeing the structure of that club. Allow us to move players for loans and a platform for other players in this said team to make the jump to Liverpool. IE the redbull model. All for it! He will be overseeing not just LFC but a multi club strategy too. The guy has proven himself as the real deal during his decade at Liverpool with his recruitment & sales. The rumours why he left were along the lines of Klopp having too much power at the club but we will never officially know if that was true.
