This is really an exceptional interview. I admired Keenlyside before, but after hearing him talk about his career with such a healthy attitude, well, it's really impressive.

Fantastic interview (part I and II). Modest and terribly inspiring. That combination of intelligence, common sense, charm and eloquence is wonderful. It is so comforting to see people in the public eye that are truly worthy of our attention and admiration.

"Becareful what you wish for, in case you get it. Because then you'll have to live with the consequences... ..."Awesome quote. Simon is so thoughtful and deep, I wish he did more of these interviews.

A great interview with Simon and what pleasure to see such excellent interviewers who ask the right questions and the right time and can make an artist feel relaxed and free to express his/her thoughts with the viewing public.

This was a really good interview to talk about his beggining and after. Really interesting to see how were making the different musicians or singers their career, it gives you hope that not all good musicians are natural or started studying at age 2 (exaggerated). Really good! He is great!

Anybody surprised at how soft spoken and shy he is? I was! Certainly wasn’t expecting that kind of speaking voice after hearing him sing.

I discovered Simon years back in a youtube clip from Die Zauberflöte (Papageno/Papagena), and I love him ever since. Amazing man, amazing singer! Best Papageno, best Don Giovanni and the list goes on.

The attribute to Oscar Wilde is incorrect. It was F. Scott Fitzgerald. No big deal though - wonderful interview.

Not that it matters - especially at this point. But talking about DON GIOVANNI, Simon says that 'MELE' means'Honey' and also means 'Apple.' He pronounced MELE. So he was saying that Mozart and DaPonte were talking about a girl's Breasts - calling them Apples AND Honey. Actually not true. MIELE is Honey and MELA is Apple... Not the same word.

Come on guys, you're opera geeks and you still don't know how to write Italian?? The right words are "che", "mele" and "così" instead of "que", "melle" and "cozi".
